How does one learn elfen?

AAHHHH you spelled it "elfin"!!!!
*feels as outraged as Tolkien*
It's elVen.
:P
Some links to get you started..
(there are books available, but in general they aren't recommended as they can't be easily updated and are full of errors)

Beginner courses:

Sindarin:
https://www.phy.duke.edu/~trenk/elvish/downloads/pedin_edhellen_en.pdf.gz
https://www.lotrplaza.com/elves/sindarin/default.asp

Quenya:
https://home.agh.edu.pl/~evermind/mathom/quetin_lambe_eldaiva_en.pdf.gz

Sindarin and Quenya are the two dialects of Elvish, Quenya being the language of the high elves and Sindarin being the more commonly used. (Galadriel would usually speak in Quenya, while say, Legolas would speak in Sindarin).

Hope this helps. :P

Ask not why, but why not.  8)
Fear not... in time, you too will speak the language of the elves...

*cough*
enough of that...

Umm.. why? Because it's beautiful, it's insanely cool to study, and it's fun to write and speak in.

Bernhard, steinwayguy, BoliverAllmon, pianonut, and i_m_robot   :)

This is based on my very short time of posting here.  These are the names that first spring to mind.

Lagin because she is great fun and Canadian

Mikeyg because he is a Libertarian and is willing to overlook my major character flaw of
being Canadian and love me for who I am.

Siberian Husky because he loves his dogs and I think that is nice

Tash because she is so nice and friendly

Bernhard because he is so smart

BolliverAllmon because he is lovely; and it should be noted that he is my Moms favorite as well

Viking because he knows where I live

and of course: Bob because he IS the ball

I listed way more then 5 members.. It would be easier to list the ones I don't like. There are so many great people on this forum!

I hope I got all of your genders correct ;D

In no particular order -

MikeyG, for being a die-hard Libertarian, and for "owning" my forums.  ;)

Siberian Husky, for his sense of humor.

Koji, for posting such wonderful recordings in the Audition Room.

Bob, because he always manages to make me laugh with his posts.

Bernhard... I really don't think I need an explanation, do I?

And, though I've been in arguments before with some of you, I can't say that there is really anybody on this site that I genuinely dislike.

and concerto, tds, pianochick, and pretty much anyone that causes some random arguements that result in flamings of the retarted person who started it such as pmz or debussy.

then there are the usual people who are in a lot of people's lists such as berhard, pianistimo, thal, etc.
