mike, like 75% of your posts seem to be complaining about tds. so how is that not spam?

7/245=.75? ... Almost, but not quite.

EDIT: Fine, I will stop posting complaints.  They don't seem to be accomplishing anything anyway.

Well... the guys I most like here are quite obvious, since they are the most helpful and insightful members.

But... there are 3 people here who I just cant STAND! whenever I see another of their posts, I get an uncontrollable urge to punch them in the mouth!

1- The guy who read a couple of filosophy books and now cant post ANYTHING without making some long winded unreadable thing, where he repeats himself 3+ times just saying the same things over and over and over again in some pseudo-intelectual bullshit!

2- The girl who cant post anything without going on about God, her pastor and how all the christians out there are praying for you to
a) go to hell
b) convert

3- The guy who will respond to anything by letting us know how much his life sucks, and how much luckyer than him we all are.
For a good laugh, check out my posts in the audition room, and tell me exactly how terrible they are :)

That would be cool, but whatever happens, I'm leaving UNSW on 1st July this year - either with my MStats completed, or just taking the GradDip if bad things happen (i.e. I don't pass my subjects this session).

I have NEVER prayed or wished that someone would go to hell!!!!!!!!!  How awful and un-Christian of someone who does that!!!  That's too bad that I'm one of your least favorite people, because you are one of my favorites!!

I find everybody here to be okay. Perhaps it's because I have mellowed with age, but I can't say I have any particular favourites and I can't say I have anything against anyone. I would certainly like to actually hear everyone play - hear what makes them tick musically - perhaps if the suggestion of a place to post recordings comes to fruition this may be possible.

I think one or two of the ladies of the forum would be great company once they had a few drinks in - underneath their serious exteriors they've already exhibited a delightful sense of humour.

5) That crazy woman piano teacher from Romania who didn't believe her students should have fun.

4) That guy from England whose posts are longer than the complete works of Shakespeare.

3) That guy who writes like he thinks he's Ali G, and had one too many meltdowns resulting in him being banned.

2) That idiot about a year or so ago who thought all piano teachers were useless.

1) That wierdo who keeps posting questions and suggestions in the "PF Website" area that no one ever responds to.

I would have to say, in no particular order:

1. Bernhard - obvious
2. Derek - my blues buddy in crime...... possibly the only one that gives me feedback in my particular area
3. SiberianHusky - common cultures allow us to be bretheren..... plus he stuck up for me and my style, he has my respect

finally, i am in the running again!  whew.  i thought my pic did me in.  and, after what mikeyg said - was moping around.  that is until nils wouldn't let him talk.  then i started thinking about peace in the world and how it would be if everyone was friendly and didn't swear and never said an unkind word.  then, i started actually missing mikeyg.  sometimes you learn more from your 'enemies.'  not that i would call mikeyg an enemy.  maybe a little psychotic - but certainly unpredictable.  the only thing i know for sure is that he likes heidi klum.  i thought he made up the name or was talking about another heidi (different type).  surprise!  i saw her on tv the other day and was rather struck by her beauty too.  so he has good taste.  now, if he just learns how to talk to girls, he'll be ok.

well, skeptotamus, i'll return the favor (since you let me play the walstein), and mayla, bernhard, bob, ted, contrapunctus (we had a previous other forum lengthy discussion about glen gould) and despite going over five pf'rs, boliver, tds, steinway guy, steinwaytony. i also like jenni because she likes my favorite pianist barry douglas and just heard him play.  and, well, (don't tell anyone) torp because he is an unusual blend of motorcycle, outdoors person - and has a child as well (i think he said so)  and janice a lot lot because she is good humored and spiritual - and well, i can't think of anyone that i dislike on this forum.  thalberg and thalbergmad.  thalburg is articulate, thalbergmad is a bicyclist, too.  of course paris and tash and bouter boogie and galonia, and ... i want to hear koji play but my computer isn't working like it should.  where in the world is lostinindlewonder?  i think his name got to be too long.  he practices a lot too. i know i forgot so many more - but didn't mean to. oh, dazzer, i think you and siberian husky are cool, too.  you both have personality even though one of you gets all the chicks and the other the good looking siberian huskies (they are so cute).  if a guy likes animals and treats them well, he's a good guy.

do you know why benches fall apart?  it is because they have lids with little tiny hinges so you can store music inside them.  hint:  buy a bench that does not hinge.  buy it for sturdiness.

tds. behave yourself.  (at least that's what i keep telling myself)

why can't you post something in the audition room?  are you completely computer illiterate like me?  or are you shy.  i think you probably play as well as anyone here.  i plan to get the sound guy at wcu to put something on video and then transfer it somehow.  i hope, whatever is done, it is according to the pf standard mp3 recording. i'm doing a little scarlatti, mozart, beethoven, barber, poulenc, i don't know what else.  i want to do a duet of mussorgsky's pic's at an exhibition.  do you want to play the other half?  i still have to send it to somebody that will separate the parts and make it sound decent.  (how much do you think that would cost - to get the whole thing arranged?)

ps was dreaming about 'orchestrating' it myself - and then i realized how hard it would be for two pianists to get the chords together at the beginning of pic at an exhibition.  so, then i imagined pianists alternating the chords.  of course, one pause, a little too long could ruin the effect.  but, oh well.  duets are for the fun of it.  it might just get the audience laughing.

do you know why benches fall apart?  it is because they have lids with little tiny hinges so you can store music inside them.  hint:  buy a bench that does not hinge.  buy it for sturdiness.

if two pianists can't get the chords together then fire the duet. Of all things they should be getting that down.

pianonut,

i cant post in the audition room coz my internet connection is extremely slow:(. i play the piano alright, i guess. your program sounds cool. are really playing both mozart and beethoven in one concert? which works?

as to the mussorgsky, you might wanna do a lil research, as i think there might already be a two piano version of it. hehe....we now live too way apart, i think. but i seriously would love to play with you :) i've played the original version, btw. its such a great concert piece.

hehe, i agree. mussorgsky pictures for two piano can be a laughable thing, if underrehearsed. there are spots that might be exceedingly hard to nail down. aint this piece much about shifting "gear", abit like schumann carnival. warmest, tds

tds- Leading the "unban mikeyg" movement.  You my dog.
husky- bringing some much needed comic relief to the forum.  You my dog.
lagin- although you thought someone with the name mikeyg was a girl, you're still cool.  Homie.
nat and alraydo *sp-  us New Englanders need to stick together, eh?
paris- you're cute ;)
boliver allimon-  the Texas Slammer.  likes to post in anything but piano almost as mush as me.
Mozartian- Although lord of the rings is a bit dorky, it's pretty cool you can speak elvish.
JCarey- cool cat.  I OWN YOUR FORUMS :p
m1469- foxy

pianonut,

i cant post in the audition room coz my internet connection is extremely slow:(. i play the piano alright, i guess. your program sounds cool. are really playing both mozart and beethoven in one concert? which works?

as to the mussorgsky, you might wanna do a lil research, as i think there might already be a two piano version of it. hehe....we now live too way apart, i think. but i seriously would love to play with you :) i've played the original version, btw. its such a great concert piece.

hehe, i agree. mussorgsky pictures for two piano can be a laughable thing, if underrehearsed. there are spots that might be exceedingly hard to nail down. aint this piece much about shifting "gear", abit like schumann carnival. warmest, tds

send it to self through aim or somethin and self will post it for you

Mozartian- Although lord of the rings is a bit dorky, it's pretty cool you can speak elvish.
