I think shes Hilary Hahn. Grestest american female violinist ever. She won the Grammy at the age of 25 due to her amazig performance of Brahms concerto

The violinist in the picture is not Hilary Hahn. I have seen Hilary in recital and that's not her. But I also have no idea who the violinist in the picture is.

BTW, I pick young Martha Agerich. She has a powerful presence.

I think mutter sucks at violin. hated everything of hers that I have heard so far.

Haha true man, true

And she's married to Andre Previn, the conductor, who's like DOUBLE her age...

France´s most beautiful female pianist: Lisa de la Salle

I too would have to go with Martha Agerich, I think.  I saw her on a video when I lived in Japan.  There was a shot of her from above that revealed a world-class rack.  I think the camera person was purposely exposing her assets.

As for violinists, Janice Martin gets my vote.  Saw her in Sasebo, Japan and Hawthorne CA and she is SPECTACULAR!

Okay, I'll have my say as an oldie; who cares if such statements are politically incorrect these days. For me the answer is easy - Mary Lou Williams. As it happens I adore her music too - she must have been an overwhelming presence at the piano in her prime.

Ted has fine taste! Uh, what's not PC? And who cares anyway?

Mary Lou Williams was the first important for many years the foremost female jazz pianist in the world. She started as a boogie woogie pianist in Kansas City, became an arranger for Andy Kirk's big band and soon developed a sophisticated and individual style of playing that never lost touch with her blues n' boogie roots. In the 1950's she became a devout Catholic and moved to France, performing infrequently but composing jazz influenced classical music. She returned to playing Jazz Piano full time in the 1960's and taught at the University of North Carolina until her death in 1981. I had the good fortune to hear her play in 1980. Her playing was restrained but profound, if that makes sense...

And she was definitely one of the hottest female pianists ever!

Grimaud has a super-face, especially those eyes.
Although she has a child-ish built which IMO doesn't make her hot or sexy at all.

She resembles Keira Knightley (face and boyish build). Once upon a time a young and effeminately pretty Glenn Gould was playing a Beethoven concerto at Leonard Bernstein's home. After a stunning cadenza, Bernstein remarked, "You played that cadenza so beautifully I almost came in my pants." My feeling exactly.

Although I adore Helene Grimaud's playing I fundamentally dislike her on-stage antics, it's so visibly unnatural... Just like her writings. When one is so pretty and talented, no need to add acting to the package, it almost ruins the 'personnage'.

Hey wait a minute, aren't you a big supporter of Lisitsa? What about all her goofy expressions and movements? I actually think Helene looks classy. But yeah, she sometimes comes off as a bit pretentious, trying to be to impress upon people that she has 'enlightening' things to say about the music. Have you heard her interviews? they set my teeth on edges! Every third word is 'euh comment on dire?' like she can't speak french anymore...

Lisitsa can be quite irritating now and then (Polonaise Fantaisie for instance), but at least she's often funny, "legendary CG" as some would say, and even when she acts it quite a bit, it doesn't feel so unnatural.
Grimaud wants to appear very "deep"... when a pianist starts looking at the ceiling, arghhh!!! And her liner notes to her recordings... Come on, Helene  ::).
However, Grimaud plays great.
