That is an awful lot of money to spend renting a piano just to have the action and response of a grand. If you don't have a piano, I would purchase a good upright (for probably less money per month) before I rented a grand. A very wise man once said, "If you can make an inferior piano sound superior, you will be able to make a superior piano sound incredible." Why rent a inferior grand (just for the action ), when you could purchase a superior upright for the same monthly amount.Sorry, just doesn't make sense to me.
I already have a Yamaha T-121 Upright...I need a grand to develop my technique over the summer...but am not in the position to purchase right at the moment.
