Is there a way the author of a reply can allow other's to modify their response?

Bad idea, Bob!!  This could be a potential cause of MANY problems (unprofessional, obscene, etc).  So someone else could "put words in my mouth"!  Bad, bad, bad!!

Good idea, Bob!!  This could be a potential cause of MANY good experiences(cooperative, playful, etc).  So someone else could "put words in my mouth"!  Great, amazing, absolutely fantastic!!

You should have a few trusted members to be moderators, and they should be able to edit and delete posts that are spam, or inappropriate.
Ahh llamas......is there anything they can't do?
