Hmmmm..... It's January 25th, 2006 now. I don't live in Las Vegas, but I'm sure the media would have gone nuts if it really happened. I'm not sure what to think of the video. Maybe a hoax? An optical illusion?  ......The Real Thing???

It was posted months ago. He tried to do it on another news program but failed (the videos out there somewhere). It's been theorized that he uses large helium balloons that his friends release at a certain time and position (this is backed up by his previous job as some balloon expert or something).

Unfortunately it turns out the aliens have one of the same internal conflicts we have.

They have a conservative group that mostly controls their affairs, listens to classical music, suffers from xenophobia, and has generally opposed space exploration and colonization.

They allow a certain amount of freedom to dissent, probably more than we do on Earth, and there is a small but potent group of younger wilder thinkers who want to explore and extend, and they listen to jazz music.

Guess which group is coming here?
