Missing You
on: February 20, 2004, 06:11:42 AM
I believe that everyone on this forum has the same sentiments towards Ed's disappearance - deep sadness. Ed, where are you? Piano Forum is just not the same! You provide valuable information and opinions and are the member with the most posts - the veritable King of The Forum. Come Back!

Yes, we all miss Ed.  He was just 111 posts away from 2000.  I think we all took him for granted and now that he's gone, everybody is feeling it.  God rest his soul. :'(

No!  Nothing and nobody can replace Ed!  He is impossible to duplicate, and extremely difficult to immitate.  You are not worthy.

I meant to say "that a giant ego was missing."  There is more to Ed than his ego - although that's certainly very healthy.

Yeah, I heard about that other giant part of Ed too.  Seriously, I had a dream last night and in that dream, Ed posted.  It was about some symphony.  It was very bizarre.

I remember that one his last posts was made on the 'gimme some lovin' thread and it was a little... provocative i guess. Maybe that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Comme_le_vent, Good luck to you and your pursuits in piano...

I remember when he wrote that....I also remember getting a good chuckle out of it as well! I am surprised he is gone, but wonder if it is a fact that he was banned, or just rumor. I never found Comme's posts offensive, but then I find it very difficult to get offended by complete strangers! Hopefully he will return soon. I know he is missed, he contributed largely to this forum, and I for one will miss his knowledge, and sense of humor!
