I believe you must have been very lucky. What have you learned of Bernhard ?
Ibty was as arrogant as you when he first came here.He has changed. Can you?
I've kept quiet for some time, and sat back and observed. Speaking as an adult who attends, from time to time, piano camp/summer school, and therefore presumably the sort of person that Mr. Bar-Niv is seeking to attract, I think I'd now like to say why I wouldn't go to his piano camp.1) Geographical reasons.2) More pertinently: Mr Bar-Niv seems to come with a considerable amount of "attitude". I appreciate that it can be unfair to judge someone's persona from what they say on an internet forum. Equally, I understand that he's attempting to promote himself. There's no doubting that Mr. Bar-Niv is a perfectly respectable pianist, and may well be a decent pedagogue also, but I'm sorry; I'd prefer someone with a little more humility and a touch less condescension.
Mr. ronde_des_sylphes,It's people like you that I am not seeking to atract.Best,Rami
Indeed, you would not want anyone in your camp that could play you under the table.Thal
I've learned of Bernhard that you guys were mocking him until he left the forum.
I was just about to give you the benefit of the doubt. But, I now conclude that you are a complete prat.
...I wonder why he wouldn't want me at his camp. I'm sure my money is as good as anyone else's.
These are the type of people he wants to attract.
rather pillowey
As I said above, I wouldn't want anyone in my camp who thinks I come with a considerable amount of "attitude" and says about me that he'd prefer someone with a little more humility and a touch less condescension.Best,Rami

From his web site. These are the type of people he wants to attract.
It looks like we have a deal
Umm, intelligent and courteous people with reasonable opinions?
Those I'd love and I do have them in camp. Here on this forum I can judge people only from their posts and he didn't sound that to me.Best,Rami
In which case you can perhaps understand the mental process by which I arrived at my less than wholly positive opinion of you.
If not, I'm sure I could quote some posts which contributed to my conclusions.
Anyways, it is ultimately of little importance, so best of luck with the pupils that you do get.
Here on this forum I can judge people only from their posts and he didn't sound that to me.Best,Rami
Can you do better?Best wishes,Rami
I am definitely not less good then either of them.Best,Rami

I respectfully suggest that some of your comments are not doing your self-advertisement any good.
Furthermore, I think that if you are going to make such comments on a public internet forum, you should expect that people are going to arrive at an opinion and may be inclined to voice it.
However, as I said, best of luck with your piano camp.
Yes, and that's the ugly part here, as there's no need to say negative things to and about someone who initially did not harm you in anyway. Thanks again.Rami
I'm sorry; clearly I had not realised that you have the right to make self-aggrandising remarks without attracting criticism that can be construed in any way as negative.
P.S. As (odd though you may find it) I do not actually mean you any ill will,
perhaps you could satisfy my curiosity on one question. If one of your pupils has significantly different views on interpretation to you (and can provide reasons to back up those views), how do you respond?
I think the same about you too.
Did your Grandson think up that answer, or did you manage it yourself
You are trying to sound smart and insult me, but you are failing both.
Don't worry, I fail at everything. But I realise that.
But you, on the other hand, still cannot understand that your rude and arrogant comments to people on this thread has failed to help your advertisement on this forum.
Thanks for your concern about my business, but I'm doing quite well.
This comment really shows your kindness and intelligence.
If your business is doing well, why do you need to advertise on all the piano forums?
If you were that good, you wouldn't need to advertise at all, as word of mouth is the best advertisement there is.
aww..i wasn't fishing for a compliment. thx. so they are?
"Never argue with an idiot they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience".
Thanks for the advice.Rami
Mr.Bar-niv ,It would be great if you can give some comments on my performance of Liszt Sonata at the audition room (I am sure every pianists know this piece inside out) so we can see if you can help me in the camp or not
What are those ladies playing?
Mendelssohn's Wedding March from Midsummer Night's Dream. It's a nice arrangements and I'll be doing it with 2 other pianists in my Utica recital, June 22.Best,Rami
Nice.I would come but I will be at Thals left-handed banjo camp all summer.
This is so unfunny and unbrilliant, time to grow up.
Judging from their hand and body position - not very well.
