Good.

Havent had this much fun in a long time  ;D
How very sad for you. I wonder why (or I would if I could be bothered). You appear, however, to have given none to anyone else here in this thread.

damn my diapers smell  :o
Your problem, not ours. Go wash them elsewhere (and you might care to launder your mouth while you're about it).

Nor did I - but then I was equally unaware than anyone here had a duck farm...

Sorry to remain off-topic, but it is SUCH a silly topic surely unworthy of this forum...

I mean weird question but i get the underlying thing.
Once I dreamt that Handel cut off his phalanges...

(No hate to anyone who loves Handel, just hate to Handel :))

This was probably already covered at some point earlier in this thread, but the problem here is that everything is so interconnected. Even erasing a relatively "minor" composer could butterfly away an entire era (or more).

I think the idea is to quietly erase a composer from history without impacting anything else. Impossible in practise, of course, but a fun thought experiment!

I'd agree about his piano writing, but his chamber/orchestra writing is very much worth keeping IMO.

Sorabji... definitely him.
Is there any reason other than that his works are too dissonant for your personal preferences?

Nope... man got too much credit for very little talent. Too dissonant? Sure... lacking in anything memorable - absolutely.

It's like Jackson Pollock who basically farts little bits of paint onto a canvas and people pay him tens of millions of dollars for it.

Completely pillock, he is.

Seconded. I liked Mozart as a flautist, I did the first two movements of the G maj concerto for grades 8 and 7 respectively. But I've never felt compelled to learn any of his piano stuff. I've tried at various times as I don't want to be ignorant and stubborn, but it's always felt like a "should" rather than "want to".
