Passages that sound awesome :D
on: March 10, 2021, 08:30:55 PM
In some pieces there are sections that sound awesome and cool and make me excited
Can you all share some sections in pieces that you think are awesome?
When all the octave comes at 1:00 minute it sounds really awesome!
When the "chorus" starts at 0:42 it sounds so exciting, it makes me happy
When it plays the "side theme" one last time at 16:23 and then goes to all the arpeggios. its super dramatic!

I love this idea!! I have so many examples
21:09 is such a powerful, romantic passage and the theme is really beautiful
also 22:01 is really good
all of 7:35-9:35 is just hair-raisingly intense and exciting
20:03-20:42 is soooo beautiful and romantic
11:04 to the end-the intensity builds and the end is so climactic. the ending D major theme is indescribably beautiful.
4:15-4:50 - I love this passage and hearing the piano alone while watching such effortless playing is really awesome
the passage at 1:38 is what got me into this sonata (and got me into Scriabin in general). I wish it went on forever.
8:22 to the end - some of the most beautiful melodies, harmonies, and textures I've ever heard
1:44-2:18 has really beautiful textures and harmonies
I could keep going but for everyone sake I'll stop here for now

Great idea!
I have always loved the transition from the calm, beautiful yet tinged with melancholy chorale that begins the 2nd Ballade by Chopin, to the stormy Presto con Fuoco.
(Starts shortly after the 2 minute mark)
Goosebumps.
I don't know about you guys, but for me my favourite passages are often tied to a specific recording where the pianist just does something out of this world, do you feel me? In this case it has to be Cortot playing it, nobody else gets even close

Wow many cool passages from you all guys
I specially like the Mephisto Waltz and the Rachmaninoff Concerto 2 and 3.
It sounds like its raining in the Chopin Ballade
Im also wondering, the pianist changes the tempo a lot, are you really allowed to do that? My teacher often said I need to keep the tempo.

This is an awesome 4 minutes and some change fro. Tzfasmans suite for piano and orchestra ,dope as heck piece overall and that old saying about how there's always an Asian little girl that can do something Better than you, there's some debate but r Russians could be considered Asian even I'd that not exactly what the saying was probably going for
