Chopin Ballades and Etudes
on: September 28, 2006, 01:18:43 PM
Hi all,

I am an amateur pianist. I have posted some videos of myself playing some Chopin pieces on
https://www.youtube.com/profile?user=med80199piano.

I would appreciate any comments from anyone to help me learn, though I know there are some deficiencies in my own playing which I have yet to overcome.

Thanks!

Please close your mouth when playing. Its not like you are suffocating or anything. You are playing the piano. Not bad playing btw. The ballade no.3 had some nice moments.

Hi, thanks for your encouraging comments. I have received many good comments on this etude from the viewers on youtube, but I know and feel that it is far from being well done. In fact, there are many unsavoury points. Over the short few weeks since that recording and the rest, I have progressed much...

Therefore, I hope to put up a proper recording soon...

Nicco, good point about the mouth, thanks!

Anyone else with any comments, please feel free to post. Thanks.

I listened to your Ballade no.1 in g minor. Wow, that was an incredible performance! I am very impressed, there were not many wrong notes there. I also liked your tempo in the different sections very much. A very good performance!
