 i know u posted the first 2 mvts here smoewhere, and i on dasdc in tha SHAGA masterclass, so if you really want we could analyze the 1st 2 mvts (although yours was much more polished/coherent/true than mine was )

buti really dont think im up to relearning all 60 pages again

Okay Do you have a suggestion? To me it would need to be something completely new (but maybe with a generous deadline like dec. 31st because I am very busy with "Styx. A long Journey" mainly, over the next few months), something deep, existential, not well-known, virtuoso and not very long.   Yes I get quite pretentious, sorry The reason is that I still have to fight with dystonia (though it got better) and can only do very few, important things.

@ Pianistimo:  That's not quite it, and besides, the title "Wilde Jagd" works best on the 1838 with its greater emphasis on the demonic tritone interval.

@Thalbergmad: It has some better aspects, but the texture comes out better in the lyrical section at least in the 1851 version.  I might mix in some material from the 1838 when I play it.  Besides, the 1851 is in complete sonata form.  Isn't it great?
