My back is killing me, too much practicing on my piano and violin while boredom is starting to
filter in as my mind and body is getting into the depressive mode...ugh!  Plus, I can
hardly eat anything.....unsettled stomach due to stress, and I've already lost 5 lbs this month
which just happened without any kind of notice at all, but such is life, eh?

Say mrmusic, when I first joined I was real shy, but I had to jump right into chatting with ppl
here and guess what, I have met ppl from all over the world and it's cool.  I am aware that chat hasn't been as active lately and I don't know why though, so I am not in there as much, but a few months ago there would be 12 members all at once!  And it was real fun to see everyone chatting about this and that.  It takes getting used to reading and  then typing replies quickly, so my typing skills has improved a lot.

Of course, not, thal; what I mean, is in real life I don't say much, but in chat when ppl start asking me what pieces I am working on and where I was from, of course, I reply.  However, one
member did cause problems(I won't mention his user name)created such a havoc that I had to
tell him off and I wanted to leave PS for good at the end of January when I first joined,  but I decided not to leave and stand up for myself everytime I came into chat and finally this member settled down.  So it is similar to real life when we meet ppl, however, in chat, you see the typed words and the names, and you do get a sense on members personalities.  Very interesting indeed.....

Gosh, I thought a few days ago I was doing alright, however, the index fingers of both hands
are splitting and being sore, so I can play piano softly.  I have tape around these fingers so I can still type and do stuff.  I am stressed out , tired, and trying to get through each day the best way I can.  I need a good nap now.....

Well, you know now! It's in the section on my work that is on the Sorabji Archive website (https://www.sorabji-archive.co.uk/hinton/biography.php). It does not include the titbit (tidbit? - could be either, methinks) that you mention and the book concerned on the occasion you mention was not about Sorabji but by him - it was his Mi Contra Fa: The Immoralisings of a Machiavellian Musician - which was then out of print but a copy of which I had been lent earlier that day by the English composer Humphrey Searle.

Whether or not you had in fact been sensible as a consequence may be open to debate, but what is not open to debate is that the quotation made no mention of anyone called Doris and I am, for that matter, unaware that any regular contributor to this forum is called Doris in any case.

If you read my post (which i wish you would stop doing), i was referring to people who had written to me about a particular subject.

I have many friends on this forum that i keep in contact with (off forum) and i do not remember having to pay anything.

Fortunately, you are not one of the people i correspond with and i doubt if you would have time given the time you spend on here licking hinty's backside.

I can only suggest again that you ignore my posts, or even better, go and die somewhere slowly.

"Simple" it may seem, but sensible and meaningful it is not. To begin with, you are not putting anything "another way" when you write this (indeed, your repetititititousnes is already beyond tiresome here). Secondly, if you genuinely expect or hope that "gep" refrain from responding to your posts, why might you not feel the same about anyone else's reaction here? (from which, if you think about it, you should deduce something about the point or otherwise in your making any posts in the first place). Thirdly, you may respond to anyone else's posts to which you might feel like responding but, in so saying, I should remind you (as though you really needed any such reminder) that "gep" is a "he", not a "she".
