Thank you. I think I did very well except I know I got 1 question wrong. I had to write the definition for the word "borough" (the section of NYC) and I did not know it was that form  :( I am pretty sure I got everything else correct though.

Well done!   :)

Well done!   :)

Thank you. I think I got a 102/100 on a spelling test today (the extra 2 is from bonus words)

I think you should get a piano.

Years ago i had a goldfish and one day it was looking pretty bored. I put the bowl on the piano and played a few pieces and he started moving around a lot more.

I came to the conclusion that piano music is good for goldfish, so perhaps it would do your fish some good as well.

Best to avoid playing any Schumann, as this will destroy any positive effects.

Thal

thank you for the advise :)  i really hope i will be able to get a piano soon!!!!! but for now keyboard will have to do... and i have been playing it more than usual these few days (pretending i was playing on a real piano :) ), so maybe thats what has helped my fish feel better! :)
Thanks! :)

Hey everybody!
I'm OK, been on medication for my anxiety for a couple of weeks and things seem to be better. I am chilled out, woo!
Been having trouble at home so moved out again (away from my beloved piano :'( ) but the freedom rules.
Started on my security course, got 100% on the written component and started on practical. The trainer rules but some of the stuff is painful! The trainer used to be head of a sniper team in a maximum security prison and was trained by SAS so he has mad skills, it's interesting to spar with him :P
Am a little worried about my brother, he's been having some...problems. Hope he gets better :-\

Think that's about what's going on lately!

I am "aufgelöst" after listening to Furtwängler's op. 111 and now I get angry because I can't find an adequate translation for the word "aufgelöst". Argh. :P

No it's not mich auch... it's not like in English where it's: I (am tired) and: Me (too). (but i dont know how to explain :) im not very good at grammar rules  :-[ :) ). Maybe it would be mich if you said: Ich fühle mich müde :) and then it could be: Ich mich auch.... but im not sure if anyone says that   :-\ :) . But I dont think sentences start with "mich"  :-\ or at least not very often....

Yes you're right. If somebody says "Ich bin müde" you may answer "Ich auch".

If somebody says "Ich fühle mich müde" the correct answer would be theoretically "Ich mich auch".
But in reality you would probably say "Ich auch" , especially if you are really tired  ;D

To speak correct German can be really tiring sometimes, also for native speakers...   :P

Im great :) i have my piano! :) so im very happy  :) well ... i am very happy but in some other ways im a bit sad too :( well its like... my mum and dad are not speaking... and it wasnt even all because of the piano... it started because ... well its complicated... first my aunt broke her leg! in two places and had to have surgery and is in hospital now.... (but she is getting better and will be going home soon) and my mum wanted to go visit her but my dad said he didnt want to go and my mum asked him if he could at least drive her to the hospital and he said that he wont and that she should just take a bus. And my mum was very angry because she is very tired because she works really a lot (at work and at home) and my dad doesnt do very much. So first she was angry and didnt feel like talking to my dad. And then my dad stopped talking too, because my mum was talking on the phone for like an hour about her work and he was hungry and he got angry cause he had to wait for so long for dinner, and then he saw the piano too (well at least i think he must have seen it, cause he came into my room) and he just didnt say anything! nothing! he just went out... so i wasnt feeling very great about that yesterday, and i know i said i wouldnt care but i still got kinda sad. And i feel kinda weird playing my piano when only my dad is home, i feel like i would be doing something bad :( . So i just wait till my mum comes home, cause she says she likes to hear me play, so then i dont feel bad :)
So i am very undescribably or indescribably happy about my piano :) :) :) and i think today my dad is starting to talk again :) so i hope it will now be ok! And i hope someday i wont have to feel bad about playing my piano anymore!!!! Well i love my piano! I have to make some pictures and post them!!!  :)  :D  :P

That's not a good thing. I had that once and I needed to get a little tube into the tympanon for drainage. Very painful but it helped.

It's a normal condition that does occur with ear infection and hopefully the hearing will be restored in time, if not after 3 months, then I'll need to see a doctor  to get treated.  I hope it will clear up and the antibiotic that I'm taking will help out.
