i'll stick to the ladies then. im much better at that sort of thing.

Someone suggested that organists would also count :
Didn't the ladies fawn over Liszt way back when?? I heard a lady retrieved a used cigar he threw away and stored it in her locket Then again i thought about a strand of hair Chopin's sister had from him when he died for like a good nanosecond. I'm a super ultra mega fan, he's just too adorable
Besides, this thread seems to be about the usual, guys checking hot babes out, so I think I withdraw again. Piano, huh? Being good at piano playing is THE sexiest thing, that's my opinion. I also wonder why female pianists are supposed to expose as much skin as possible, while a man is supposed to expose as little as possible ...
i don't know for sure that she plays the piano but maybe she does.
i think it was worth posting anyways
Valentina Lisitsa was smoking hot. She is getting a little older now but she is still ok
I momentarily read that as "smoking pot".
Were that actually true, one suspects many weaknesses in her playing may be alleviated.
I must confess that I'd not thought of that! I do not share Thal's wholly deprecatory view of her but, as I think I may have mentioned previously, I find that she just doesn't engage me and draw me into what she plays, as with Hélène Grimaud, so listening to her is almost always a disspiriting experience - everything sounds just so much too ordinary and uninvolved and uninvolving. Try listening, for example, to her playing Rachmaninov's Third Concerto and then, after a suitable pause, Argerich doing the same...Best,Alistair
maybe i'm just a peasant with an uneducated ear but all these pianists that people bash all sound pretty good to me.
