Once again, no disrespect to K (the reverse, indeed), but it does seem to be high time that a French chef came along here and mopped up, for he/she would find sufficient stocks of escargots on this thread to keep a classy restaurant going for quite some time, methinks...

::)  ::)  ::) But I have said already: this snails can't be eaten!!! And even if they could somehow be eaten, then they would become ghost snails!!! And then they could just go from one thread to another, so then there wouldn't be just one thread with snails, but the ghost snails would be all over the Pianostreet in all of the threads!!!! They would just be appearing everywhere all the time! :o So it would really be better to just let these snails live peacefully in this thread! S'il vous plait! Merci beaucoup!

No - let them all be cooked to perfection! Some of those who consume the results might even be pianists!

They're not my favourite thing either, but since so many people do enjoy them, I felt that my post above did not lack due pertinence.

Surely a Kentucky Boneless Box is superior.
If ione of those is actually "superior" to anything at all, I'll eat - er - one of those boxes. I suppose that it might be marginally superior to a goat's cheese and vegemite soufflé, but it's a close run thing, I think.

Anyway, Thal, you would really write from a position of greater authority if you had actually tried some escargots. One may reasonably presume, on the other hand, that on at least one occasion and in the interests of bona fide research you have made the not-quite-ultimate sacrifice and tried one of those Kentucky TasteBoneless Boxes?

Anyway, this thread is supposedly for K and I'm far from convinced that any of us here wants to do her the gross disservice of foisting upon her such a soufflé or such a Box.

Snails hiding in their shells at the thought of being eaten.
Ah! - methinks that the dénouement of this thread is at last approaching, for if they're all hidden, the rest of us will be spared the need to worry about seeing them; in any case, have little doubt that K has things in her life that interest her far more than these little creatures that the French enjoy consuming and for which English and other gardeners put down poison on account of their horticulturally pestilential qualities (those of the snails, that is, not the gardeners)...

"Such" as what? - in other words, by what parameters do you perceive or assess "complication", either in words or in music?

It is indeed true that I am not in the habit of conversing with - or consuming - ghosts, but it is also true that, although snails are not an especial favourite of mine to eat, I nevertheless regard them as food, given the number of French and others who do eat them and I also regard them as a garden pest that requires to be annihilated otherwise damage to all manner of plants will be done by them.

I hope that these explanations are not unduly complex for you.

::) sooo... you wanna know why I think your sentences are complicated or something like that right? Well it's because you use a lot of words I don't understand, and especially because it seems like you write a lot of little sentences in just one sentence (not always but a lot of times :) ) and then it's like I start reading one sentence and then it's another sentence in that sentence and then another sentence in that sentence and another and another.... and then I already forget what the first sentences were about. But don't worry it's kinda fun it's like riddles or something :)  ;)  :)

What is? In any event, I would hope to achieve substance over style. I also trust that these sentences are not thought to be unduly lengthy or to contain words that require checking in the dictionary. That said, one can never be sure about the vocabularies of potential readers when posting to internet forums; that fact is obvious, since such vocabularies will inevitably vary greatly from one forum member to another.

A business snail team splits off the snail mafia group and begins selling snails legitimately, although still staking out a piece of Piano Street for their business operations using their snail mafia connections.  Nils remains unaware of their activities the whole time.  The business snails begin renting access to their snails, allowing users to download copies of their snails for a monthly fee of $3.  The business snails give away a few free access copies of their snail membership to certain "high profile" members of the site in order to increase revenue.  The business snails create a "snail dictionary" which originally was for sale but now is given away for free.  The business snails begin advertising in prominent snail magazines and journals and eventually split off of the PS forum to start their own snail forum.

Legal snails reappearing, hurriedly issues as many cease and desist orders as they can... except they're snails so they're not moving very fast on that.  Fast for snails, yes, but not very fast overall.

I forgot to say something about the smilies :) I don't really understand how can people write posts and look at all the smilies up there and just not use them at all!!  :o Because I just have to!  :P because if I wouldn't put smilies in my posts it would seem like I can't even say everything I want to :)  ;D Like some letters or even words would be missing!  :)  8) I wish there was even more of them!!!  :P  8)
Oh and in real life people sometimes don't know how old I am either  ::) some think I'm older and some think I'm younger  :P well they never think I'm 36 of course  ;D  ;D and they don't think I'm a male fella in his early 20s either  ;D  :P That would be VERY weird! Once I saw on the internet something about a girl who is 13 years old but she looks like she was 40 or something like that, because she has something wrong with her skin and she is very sad because people don't believe she is just a kid. Well I think when people think I'm older is cause I'm pretty tall and because sometimes I look very serious  :P   :P I almost don't talk at all when I'm around people I don't know and I don't act stupid or anything, I'm just really quiet.... well I guess that's kinda hard to believe because I talk sooooooo much here  ::)   :P And when people think I'm younger I guess it's because sometimes I act like a little kid :) and I want my mum to help me with something and to go somewhere with me because sometimes people really scare me and I don't want to talk to them by myself  :-[

well this is a lot harder to make than I thought! Why is it called a seesaw? Is it because when you're up you look around and you say: Oh I see... and then you go down and you say: well I saw... and then: I see and then: I saw.............  :P  ;D   :)

Probably has B.O. (body odor).  Which for a snail must be pretty bad.

Sadly not true in any particular; I wouldn't invite one of these creatures as (a) I don't especially care for their taste and (b) they're a garden pest.

By the way, how did you know it was a male snail?

Yes :) A back flip :) :)  8)
well, maybe if you look at it from down to up  ;D then it's a front flip  :D

Probably has B.O. (body odor).  Which for a snail must be pretty bad.

And then when that snail is flying close to some people or other snails they can't see him (cause he's using stealth technology) but they can just smell him  ;D and then they are wondering why did something start smelling so bad all of a sudden  ;D

Well I hope that injured snail didn't go to Ahinton's house!!! That wouldn't be a very good idea!!
