Angela Hewitt live @Verbier:
https://www.medici.tv/#/home/Wow she just had a major memory lapse in the opening Bach French Suite. It's amazing how she handled it! As if nothing happened, she continued, absolutely confidently!

C-minor French Suite! Ahh it's soooo beautiful!!!

"When I was a kid I dreamt of being in a musical because I loved to sing and dance. Perhaps that's why I'm so preoccupied with making the piano do the same. Music is mostly song and dance anyway"
Angela Hewitt
"If you want to experience the angst of an artist, if you want temperament and vicarious high-octane living, it ain’t there. But if you want the sheer joy of human creation and recreation, then go to a piano recital by Angela Hewitt. From the moment she steps sprightly on stage—the walk of the dancer she was in a former incarnation—you know that the hum of happiness is going to be there, in and through everything she plays."
Hilary French, The Times
Brahms Händel Variations. I feel overwhelmed by so much beauty!

It's the second time that I "attend" a live concert online, in this way, and it's a very touching experience, just like the one with Lars Vogt! In this live stream you feel sometimes so much closer to the artist than if you attend a concert in person. It feels like sometimes I can literally smell her hands...

And I can tell you it's not at all a bad smell!

Well, I mean, what does Brahms do with us in this work!...a climax beyond the climax...that's just incredible...!
Encore...Bach..*listens*
Magic of the heart

I am just so grateful!
