hmm...i'm done with Mozart's Coronation Concerto in D for now. I'll come back to it someday. due to the switch of private teachers I'm working on a new repertoire as well.

Ravel Concerto in G/ Beethoven's 3rd/ Schumann/ Chopin Concerto no.2

i have to pick from a list and these 4 are my options, i've already elimated Mozart from the list! I asked my teacher who's in canada to pick 3-4 for me from the list and i'll pick one from there...i'm pretty sure these are the 4 that she will list as well.

I've already started the whole Pathetique sonata. Basically i'm reworking the 1st&2nd mvts, previously I learnt it on my own. As for the 3rd mvt i've just started learning it.
For the Schubert, I started last week. For the Rach Prelude it's been about a month and i'm making pretty good progress.
I'm reworking Chopin's Etudes op.10 no.4& 5. No.4, I just love it as for no.5 I like it and I need to improve my R.H technique. I'm learning op.10 no.12 for L.H technique

A breakthrough! I'm currently polishing Chopin's Prelude in Db "Raindrop". I can't believe this. I thought I would be stuck with grade 2-4 pieces forever.

Now I feel more confident... I just have to finish my assigned pieces and then I'll be able to choose for myself.

Chopin prelude 20 in C minor Op 28 - memorised, but trying to play without messing it up

Sometimes you just have to dive right in and study something you don't feel ready for. "Raindrop" was for a bet, 2 weeks to learn. I lost the 2-week bet, but was given 1 more week just to finish it. I thought it was impossible, but I'm finally doing it!

thank you yes, I love my life! Friends, not all but at least 80% always say that i'm over-ambitious but I don't agree with it at all. My best of friends support me so much and always encourage me to go on. Those are the people i'm grateful for!

I started playing piano one year ago, without teacher ( know it's bad but... :/ )

- Gnossienne No.4, Satie. (started yesterday, and it's almost done )
- Rêverie, Debussy.
- Prélude No.15, Chopin.
- La fille aux cheveux de lin (prélude No.8, book I), Debussy
- Sonate Pathétique 2nd Mvt, Beethoven

I don't really know if I'm doing well or not... if you have any advices about those pieces I'd like to know them

Yeah, that's kind of what I realized when I listened to it a few more times - somehow, I wasn't quite as enchanted after the first hearing. But now I can't imagine cutting any of them So I probably will do the whole thing.

I've recently begun piano after quitting when I was 9.

I am learning all seven of Satie's gnossiennes.  Just polished up no.1, making headway into 2 and 3.

Apparently, 2 and 3 are level 7 pieces, to my surprise.  I think I can handle them.  I'm not quite sure of the implications of this in regards to my skill level.  I probably need to acquire much more repertoire before I determine that.

Faure - Automne & Apres un Reve (with soprano)
Poulenc - trio for piano, oboe and bassoon

Well, after a few weeks, I have worked on Bach's Prelude & Fugues C Minor, G Minor and F Minor and now I will learn D Minor , G Major and E Flat(from the WTC II).  Still working on the Chopin's Fanatasie Impromtu and Etudes 10/1 and 25/8.  Debussy's Toccata is coming along now.  That's it for now.

...I'm also learning the piano accompaniment of Bach's Badinerie to back up a Flute Player during for a recital.  It's pretty easy, but slightly tough to fit together, especially because the phrases always start and end mid measure, and I've never done accompaniment/chamber/duet stuff of any sort in my life.

She was very kind and understanding, did not even scold me for doing poorly, rather scolded me for being affected by it. haha...however afterwards, she mentioned she would be coming again, so I have pieces that I have to learn for her as well:
Schubert- 1 small set of his waltzers
Brahms- Intermezzo ( a few selections)
Liszt- Transcendental Etudes ( at least 1) as well as a selection or 2 from his Pilgramage Years...i've been holding back on this because Liszt terrifies me!!!
Schumann- Scenes from Childhood (entire set) as well as Abegg Variations
........!!!!!!!! this is alot to learn
I have to learn Liszt's Dance of the Gnomes and Scarlitti Sonata Kk.141 for my next sem's exam too

With some very interesting passages(repetitive) and tricky fingering....but got that figured out last week, and so now I am ready for a new adventure.
