Newington!  That's what I guessed - but the ties in the picture are a little too obscured to be sure.

No way would I post a school photo up.  But I will reveal that we wore garish yellow (until we were seniors, then we swapped yellow for white) and bottle green.

It's wonderful not to have to think about what to wear everyday though.  And easy to spot trespassers on school grounds.

Plus I've seen schools where there's no uniform - everyone just wears jeans and t-shirt, which becomes a de facto school uniform anyway, so what's the difference?

lol...this is very true!  Also it puts all students on a level playing ground - allowing them to become more individual by personality, rather than by dress.

yeah i never minded uniforms. except in yr12 we got free dress friday, and could supposedly wear whatever we wanted, provided it wasn't a short skirt, thongs, singlet top, any kind of top that showed 'midriff' ie. showing 1cm of flesh between your jeans and top was too revealing. and a whole lot of other things...
ok i'll give you a clue about my school- we wore light blue 'sack' uniforms in summer and moroon skirts and moroon blazer in winter and located on the north shore. ummm girl on the far right, i'm not going to state anything about her cos she might kill me, but if you give me a clue as to who you think it might be i'll say yes or no
