However, just wanted to point out that you know nothing about me, and if I wanted to "show off in a completely non-subtle matter", then I would "show off" much more than just what I "showed off" in my prior post.

Be proud, very proud. I listened to your Schubert Impromptus, and I really enjoyed them. (and believe me, I can be very picky) I also read that you performed the Mendelssohn G minor Concerto at the Royal Albert Hall, and I'm in LOOOOOVE with that piece.

Nah I'm actually mainly Asian with the rest split up amongst those other three countries - I really don't know how much it works because I've got no family records, only what my parents tell me. I think like one of my great grandparents was German, another was French and my grandpa was Russian.

thalbergmad, you are too old for bouter boogie and we don't want her to end up like your last girlfriend.  but, i think you are meant for a surprise relationship (no crystal ball, just conjuring).  my husband was jumped at 40.  he was like beethoven, always admiring women from a distance.  i challenged him on this - even though at times he would be forward -  he also was scared a woman would do him in.  when i came to visit him - i just decided i wanted to marry him.  why do i see this happenning to you?  because you are not actively going out and looking for trouble.  so, trouble will have to come to you.  keep on hiking and stuff.  she's probably waiting at the top of a mountain or on a bike trail somewhere.  not on piano forum, ok.  you don't want introvert -introvert (or did you say you were extrovert?)  you need someone who will pick you up by the ears and let you know who's boss.
