Seems like a good time to post this!Might be the video I've watched most Bam! Thwack!
piano abuse.
Gerard Depardieu has nothing on that guy.
@visitor Beating the Tom and Jerry duet will be a tough feat. Truly amazing video! Thanks much 😊 Reminds me of my first remembrances of classical music.....
Now let’s hear what this masterwork actually sounds like:
Didn't you post that here already?
I definitely think he has limitations. He seems to jazz up the pieces a little. But aspects of playing the piano that easily surpass what the average or even advanced pianist can do - perfect pitch- instant replication- Playing blind lolI think the bigger picture is what can be appreciated that clearly there are skills that the brain can develop FAR pass the average ability if only we better understood the brain.
19:18 - Shostakovich Prelude and Fugue no. 15, op. 87
Thanks for posting...cannot force myself to listen to the other 3 pieces but this brightened up my morning...imagine it with the piano in perfect tune...And indeed how did I miss this channel before??If only their sound was included as well...BTW. It seems to be true what I heard that in Russia they just played what was available, tuned or not. We are quite spoiled now...
Does anybody know where I can find a recording of Michael Kaykov playing orage from annees de pelerinage?
