ok so this is my no 2 favorite piano piece ever just after Scriabin op 28. as such I have heard this , a lot and always check what other performances make their way out there,  this probably knocks off my favorite performance of the work that's been in place for about 4 years or so, this is so crazy good it's not even funny,  and this recording is probably the highest quality produced one I've seen yet
so many things come together but the star is her playing , holy katz, she gets it, a lot of capable pianists.attempt this bit agh they missed it, not here, nailed it. seriously,  wow, I listened to this 3 times in a row when I came across it

really best to listen w good headphones ie earbuds or good speakers nice and loud,  worth the effort

I definitely think he has limitations. He seems to jazz up the pieces a little.

But aspects of playing the piano that easily surpass what the average or even advanced pianist can do
- perfect pitch
- instant replication
- Playing blind lol

I think the bigger picture is what can be appreciated that clearly there are skills that the brain can develop FAR pass the average ability if only we better understood the brain.

I bought Samantha Ege’s "Four Women" album and have just been listening to it. The pieces by Price and Bonds, in particular, I find compelling, embodying very deep sentiment beautifully expressed.
