i have returned from pf gitmo

yes.  after a month in the gulag - i am now returning to voice a small opinion.  where am i?  clementi vs. mozart caught my eye - but i think there is a general boredom on this forum due to extenuating circumstances - of which i dare not freely speak.  i shall resign myself to trimming my fingernails.

maybe a small quote from history on andrew jackson presidency: 'Jackson's attitude towards the Cabinet was far different from that of his predecessors.  He had no intention of surrounding himself with a group of advisors whose opinions he would be forced to consult or follow.  Jackson thought that Cabinet members were merely the chief clerks of the executive department; men indeed who had certain duties to perform, but still servants whom he could remove from office at any time.  For this reason Jackson's official Cabinet, with the exception of Martin Van Buren, who was secretary of state, was composed of weak men who found it very difficult to work well together.'

Jackson introduced the so-called 'spoils' system into the national government.  Under the spoils system the candidate victorious in an election is considered free to reward his supporters by giving them official positions.  The system had already been in practice in many state governments, especially in NY, but Jackson brought the practice into the nation's capital.  Officeholders in washington were very eager to find out what the President had planned in their regard.  Their interest was soon changed into angry disappointment when they learned his attitude towards public officials.  Jackson came to the White House fully convinced that one of the greatest contributions he could make to his country was to improve the service rendered by men in official positions.  He believed that many government officials had performed their duty only halfheartedly, that new blood was needed in the government employ....He believed also that one man had as much right as another to hold public office, that no special training was required, and that any honest citizen was capable of serving his fellow men.

As soon as he was in office Jackson began a systematic removal of government officials.  A man's age or his years of experience made no difference, and frequently Jackson's only explaination for a dismissal was that someone else would do well in the office.  The one necessary qualification for all new appointees was loyalty to Jackson...it is unfortunate that Jackson, in replacing old officeholders with men loyal to himself, shared the spoils of his victory with many inexperienced, incapable, and sometimes dishonest men.'

'From the very beginning of his administration Jackson was opposed to the Bank of the US.  His attitude, however, was in keeping with widespread antagonism of the West and the South toward the bank.  To the people as a whole the bank seemed to be a financial monopoly which exercised complete control over the m oney of the country.  They felt that a small, powerful group was enjoying special rights and privileges.   President Jackson was determined to destroy the bank.  In his messages to Congress he questioned the constitutionality of the bank and attacked its soundness.  He advised reorganization and new banking methods.  In opposition to the bank Jackson showed his disregard for the decisions of the Supreme Court.  That dignified body of judges had proclaimed that the Bank of the United States was constitutional, but the president showed in his messages to Congress that he did not believe that a decision of the Supreme Court was binding either on the president or on Congress.  He showed unwillingness to sign the bill for rechartering the bank when its charter was about to expire in 1836.  Her argued that a pronouncement of Congress was as legally binding as a pronouncement of the Court, and that the president was independent of both the Court and Congress.  In spite of much opposition from the wealthy manufacturing group in the country, Jackson and the people triumphed.  The bank was dead...

The president interpreted his success as an approval by the people of the United States of his attitude toward the bank, the Supreme Court, and especially toward the tariff, a question of supreme importance in the national scene.  Before 1824,  South Carolina favored a protective tariff because many people thought that manufacturing would become an important industry in the state and because they knew that industry would be helped by a high tariff rate.  After 1824 a change in attitude toward the tariff developed rapidly.  The climate and the soil of the state made cotton and rice the only staple crops.  Moreover, there was a great increase in the production of cotton as a result of the invention of the cotton gin, and because of overproduction the price of cotton fell rapidly.  Hence the protective tariff became a grievance to South Carolina, since planters could not pay the high prices placed on imported articles.

John C. Calhoun, vice president at the time that the objectionable tariff act was passed, prepared a report called the South Carolina Exposition in which he called the tariff of 1828 'unconstitutional, unequal, and oppressive, calculated to corrupt public virtue...and destroy the liberty of our country.;  In his exposition Calhoun developed a program for protesting against absolute federal control.  He advised calling a state convention to decide upon the sonstitutionality of the tariff and to take measures for the protection of Carolina's state rights.  The doctrine of state rights implies that the Federal Government is not superior to the state government...President Jackson with equal determination gave Congress the power to pass a law authorizing the use of force to carry into effect the tariff regulations.  This law is called The  Force Bill.  Congress finally passed a compromise bill which grdually reduced tariffs until they were again as low as those in force in 1816.'

OK.  I'll explain Axelrod in three words/sentences.  Mafia don.  Slumlord.  Chicago insider with ties to Ayers. (he gave an interview in which he gave specific details about where Ayers and Obama lived, how they knew each other, and their children/schools.  he's not unaware of details of which he could have been silent.  kinda foolish if you ask me).  'spoils' Cabinet - there you go.

here's an excerpt:
Former Mayor Daley aide Sunil Garg has described the situation:

When I first heard this "audacious" rhetoric for change during Obama's Senatorial run in 2004, it deeply resonated with me (and not just because I'm another skinny kid with a funny name). After all, if ever there were a State in need of change, it would be Illinois. Currently, our three largest governments -- the State, the City of Chicago and Cook County -- are under federal investigation and among recent highlights are former Governor George Ryan going to prison, one of Mayor Richard Daley's top advisors' conviction for fraud (along with a host of others), and the indictments of current Governor Rod Blagojevich's top fundraisers, Tony Rezko and Chris Kelly. Yet, rather than translating his bold rhetoric of reform into action here within his home and challenging this corrosive culture, Obama has repeatedly acted in ways that reinforce it.

Let's take each Illinois government currently under federal investigation, starting with the Illinois state government and Obama's nearly two-decade relationship with the man who has come to epitomize pay-to-play politics in Illinois, the now-indicted Rezko. As recently as 2005, Obama partnered with Rezko to purchase his million-dollar home, although it was widely reported that Rezko was the target of U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald's investigation. Under the deal with Rezko, Obama paid $300,000 less than the asking price for his home, while Rezko's wife paid full price for the vacant lot next door, only to turn around and sell Obama part of that lot a few months later. While Obama dismissed the deal as a "boneheaded mistake", this is an odd explanation for someone trumpeting judgment over experience. Even giving Obama the benefit of the doubt on the land deal, he is unable to explain how as a champion of the poor, he remained ignorant for years to the fact that Rezko was one of the largest slumlords in Chicago, including within Obama's own district, and although the law firm for which he was an attorney had helped Rezko secure more than $43 million in government funding for his apartment buildings. Given this questionable history with Rezko, one would hope (there's that word again) that Obama might support the legislation banning pay-to-play politics in Illinois. Such legislation overwhelming passed in the Illinois House, but Obama's self-described "political godfather", Emil Jones, inexplicably refuses to bring the legislation to vote in the Illinois Senate ... and Obama has remained silent.

Next, there is the Cook County government, a $3 billion operation that most taxpayers don't think about but which provides necessary and critical services to the indigent, particularly health care. In 2006, the Cook County Board President, John Stroger, faced near-daily chronicling of the incompetence, scandal, and patronage under his administration. These revelations included not only the typical employment of family members and friends, but more disturbingly what one Chicago newspaper referred to as a "catalogue of horrors" at a County hospital and what another uncovered at the Juvenile Detention Center where staff encouraged fights among the youth in "the gladiator room". Although normally untouchable, challenging Stroger was a formidable reform candidate, Forrest Claypool, who had been endorsed by every major paper in Chicago. This 'machine versus reform' race provided Obama with a seemingly tailored opportunity to demonstrate his new brand of politics and yet, although Claypool was a senior advisor to him during his Senate race, Obama chose not antagonize the machine and remained silent throughout the campaign, even after Stroger suffered a debilitating stroke a week before the election. Following Stroger's victory (52% to 48%), local committeemen selected Stroger's son, Todd, to replace him on the general election ballot, and despite general voter outrage over this cynical act of nepotism, Obama immediately embraced Todd Stroger, calling him a "a good progressive Democrat" who will "lead us into a new era of Cook County government." To no one's surprise, since winning the general election, Todd Stroger has hired a plethora of family members and friends, while slashing essential positions and services, including nurses and law enforcement officials, and proposing massive tax increases. When asked about the situation at the County under Todd Stroger, Obama said he was not following it, something he apparently has the luxury to ignore.

Just how corrupt is Chicago? Former Alderman Dick Simpson who's now a professor at University of Illinois-Chicago has some interesting numbers on Chicago and Illinois:

Since 1973, the U.S. attorney has indicted 30 aldermen and convicted 27 (one died before trial and two stand trial this spring). The Public Corruption and Accountability Project at UIC calculates that there have been more than 1,000 local and state governmental officials convicted since the 1970s. The "corruption tax," or cost of government corruption for Cook County residents, is now more than $300 million a year, greater than the local government tax increases this year. We can't really afford more local "Hired Truck" schemes, patronage hiring, or the state pension and driver license scandals of recent years.

Things are so throughly corrupt in Chicago that U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald had to call for more help.As The Chicago Sun-Times reported:

From an exhaustive Hired Truck investigation to a probe into patronage hiring at City Hall, there's so much corruption to investigate in the Chicago area, the FBI is adding manpower.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert Grant told the Sun-Times he has reorganized the bureau to add a third public corruption squad by Sept. 6, giving Chicago the largest public corruption unit in the country.

Even New York and Los Angeles only have two squads, said Washington-based FBI spokesman Steve Kodak. It is the second time in two years the FBI in Chicago has expanded its public corruption force.

"Sometimes you create a new squad and tell agents to go out and find the work," Grant said. "Right now, we've got enough work that will keep everybody busy."

#2 The bank is dead.  Do you think the rich wanted to pay the taxes they had coming?  No.  They are declaring bankruptcy.

#3 Auto industry - tariffs, etc - whatever will cause the us economy to go under.

All i'm saying is look - there are some very interesting though 150+ years apart similarities between Andrew Jackson and incoming
President-elect Obama.  We had 'King' Jackson who pretty much did as he liked and for the most part ignored his cabinet - and had a 'kitchen' cabinet.  Why is Obama choosing his cabinet so fast.  He doesn't care who the heck gets in there.  But, they must be loyal to him.

What real qualifications does Bill Richardson have for his post.  I'm just wondering why not a person with a PhD in economics.  This is just wierd.

OK.  I do see the point in having someone who can make peace with Mexico - and in that respect Bill Richardson is the man - but wow - nobody is vetted.  There aren't any candidates - just pow- choose one.

Clean energy and climate change seem to be all-encompassing reason for the choice.  I think it's nice to be green - but doesn't it seem like you should have some knowledge about economics, too?  I'm just wondering.  Maybe someone can clear this up.  I've always liked Bill Richardson because he seems like he is a 'real person' - however - he doesn't seem like the ideal economics guy.  He's not dull and boring.

About Obama's closest advisor Peter Rouse, whom in Time magazine Obama called 'completely ego free' - *(info found on wiki) - 'On October 15, 2001, Rouse was the Daschle staff person to call the police about a letter that tested positive for anthrax powder.  Twenty of Daschle's staff subsequently tested positive for exposure to anthrax spores; it is not known if Rouse was exposed along with his workmates.  Now...  I'm not saying anything - i'm just asking.  Who IS Rouse.  Is he for us or against us.  Just wondering.  I have no idea which side he is on.

Some believe Bruce Ivins was framed.  That he did not send the letters and was pushed to commit suicide by pressure of others thinking he did it.  Two of his co-workers said that he didn't even work with or deal with powdered anthrax.  Here is a recent NY Times magazine that also exhonorates another scientist who then received 5. something million from the government because they now believe he is innocent.  OK.  Somebody did it.  Somebody paid with their life.  Somebody got 5 million.  And somebody is still out there that can do it again.   This is ridiculous.  The FBI obviously doesn't think this case is worth the trouble of the Simpson case - and shuts an eye to obvious efforts to obfuscate the reason behind getting rid of Daschle staff and other congressional members with anthrax laced letters.  It's just very very strange.  https://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/26/washington/26anthrax.html?_r=1

This is from December 6, 2008 NY Times:
https://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/02/us/02hatfill.html  Now...on the case that it truly was someone else with a similar strain of AMES anthrax virus - we would need to trace it to wherever it came from.  I have no idea who did what.  Just asking.  Wondering.  Shouldn't the American public hear more news that is pertinent to their upcoming next four years?

Whether we get an inside job or an outside job - the letters contained a message to Dachle, Tom Brokaw, and the NY Post  "Death to America.  Death to Israel.  Allah is Great."  Then we are told 'do not link this to Sept. 11.'  So...what are we to think as the American public?  We can be mislead quite a few times about who is doing what - but generally the FBI should get it straight.  So...if they say that NONE of our own bioterrorism scientists have anything to do with this AMES strain of virus...that it is wholly and completely terrorists who were working inside our country to do this - to mail these letters from New Jersey. https://www.sptimes.com/News/102401/Worldandnation/Cases_of_deadly_inhal.shtml

OK.  Let's move on to Tom Daschle.   What education does he posess that makes him elite for the job of Health and Human Services?  Well, i think he upholds the 'ideal' of liberal agenda and hopefully, for the democratic side, will override the 'mistake' that Rouse said Obama might make if he voted 'yes' for Justice Roberts (chief justice).  So...what we have here is a dictatorship in the making.  We will soon see a divisive faction-making health-care system because Daschle has NEVER BEEN BI-PARTISAN.  And, for the record - Rouse is the economist - not Richardson.  This is why the 'team' is really messed up.  The people who have a certain education are not matched with their ideal job.  It's a sort of 'chaos philosophy.'  Basically, it will be 'get rid' of this and that.  Perhaps after the constitution, it will be the supreme court.  After all, Rouse is the one that said voting 'yes' for Roberts would come back and haunt Obama - so he voted 'no.'  That's because he's BI-PARTISAN?  Oh. yeah.  This bi-partisanship started yesterday?  When he randomly picks people?  He's NOT bi-partisan himself - that Obama.  He's really radical.  Imagine there will be some good things to his health care solutions - but also some very BAD ones.  For one thing - he will likely attempt to overrule the supreme court on abortion issues.  For conservatives this is not bi-partisan.

Lastly, about our military.  James Jones, the recently appointed National Security Advisor was also the leader of NATO command and assigned to help the Kurds.  Here is an article of what has happened to them: https://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9D0CEFD81338F937A15756C0A967958260 Now that  PresidentTalabani has sucessfully overcome heart surgery - it will be important to see if he is strong enough to sustain whatever comes his way after we leave Iraq. This is what recently almost happened to his wife: https://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7382641.stm  Maliki doesn't seem interested to get into the details. I don't doubt that Gen. James Jones did his best - but, can you tell me honestly he is John McCain's friend and now says 'yes' to work for Obama.  Perhaps he is putting country first - but, my - it's funny when he says 'and I lived in France for 15 years' as though it's one of his best accomplishments.  I suppose that speaking many languages fluently helps for work in NATO and he seems much like an asset - but why are the Kurds not really helped at all and why are the Georgians overlooked.  Is there some policy flaw?  Do we really mean 'freedom for all.'

I suppose that all these problems cannot be worked out in a day.  But, when Hillary Clinton says that she will come first - before the national security advisor - in terms of who is closest to Obama - it sets up a red flag.  Apparently, James Jones isn't part of the 'cabinet.'  Oh.  I mean 'the kitchen cabinet.'  And, where will Eric Shinseki, Veteran Affairs person, fit in?  Does he have the ability to work with James Jones well?  Do they get along?  I'm just wondering about this closet fist-fight where James gets kicked with a foot that was blown off and is now wooden or something.

Anyway - what is this "pf gitmo" of the thread topic?

Hi Pianistimo! I've just been reading a book you'd enjoy - you've probably seen it around, it's been out a few years - 'Dude, where's my country?' by Michael Moore. Which prompts me to ask you: how _do_ you square being a follower of probably the most famous communist rabble-rouser in Western history with your apparent support for the Republicans?

I've always associated that book with the kind of activity that ensures that some crook or other nicks one's passport while one is staying in such a hotel; in other words, Gideon is an anagram of ID gone.

hello, everyone!  back to it...ok.  we have Timothy Geithner for Treasury Secretary (guess what!  He's already President of NY Fed. Reserve bank for many years?) and should work well with Theresa Ghilarducci - since she will provide some needed income by 'stealing' tax profits on anything left over in people's depleted 401 K's.

OH.  This is really reassurring.  For anyone who hasn't fled the country left with what money they have remaining, now is the time to do it.  Sorry to be so blunt - but what the Boston Tea Party did was quite democratic and much more so than sitting down and fussing about it all.

Some say - give it all a chance.  What choice do we have.  We are left now with a depression and the 'rich' are supposed to bail us out of it.  How about making some good decisions and sticking with them.  Many people have declared bankruptcy and it's not the complete end of the world.  However, I am not in disfavor of helping people who show capability to help themselves to keep their homes AND SMALL BUSINESSES.  Why wasn't this the first PRIORITY of the Federal Reserve - giving us some hope and reassurance that we are important and that it was their decisions to let Fannie and Freddie get out of control.  Now, we pay for bad decisions?

There is no lack of incredulity in matters of finance and government no matter who is in charge.  There's always someone who is greedy.  It's just that we are told - there is no time left!!!!  What about people who lose homes to foreclosure or have to declare bankruprcy?  What does the Fed say then?  When there is no time left for them?

I don't really see how a young 40ish person can have so much economic advantage and wisdom over a person who has lived through the depression.  GIVE ME A REAL economist.  Someone who can cut some corners and help everyone honestly live within their means.  Someone who knows about sacrificing for one's country and maybe not worrying about the Chinese dollar so much.  We're not in it for the short term.  We're here for the long term (supposedly).

Amity Shlaes might be better young candidate, though, since she has spoken to many people who lived through the depression and NEW DEAL - which didn't work as well as it could or should have because people became too dependent upon the government for eVERYTHING.  That is what ms. evil kneivel Theresa wants to do with retirement. AX it. - hack it to smitherines and then say 'look at your retirement fund. it is like the social security fund.  we allow you to retire on nothing.'

hello, everyone!  back to it...ok.  we have Timothy Geithner for Treasury Secretary (guess what!  He's already President of NY Fed. What I am talking about is freedom.  Apparently, in the last few days - we have a real 'secret code' by way of whom our next possible President is telling us what we have in store by the choices he is making for posts in the Cabinet and elsewhere.  He chooses them so fast - we hardly have time to take it all in - unless we read newspapers from several years ago.

Now, one thing you don't need to read the newspaper on is the idea that all these people are bi-partisan.  Is Hillary  Clinton bi-partisan.  She's Secretary of State.  The people who are in positions to actually affect the decisions of Mr. Obama will be those in his 'kitchen cabinet.'  The others may as well be card board cut-outs.  Although, he has carefully chosen Daschle because he is also very partisan.  Daschle will likely make Dakotas (old military installations around there, you know) the safest place on earth.  hahahha  In fact, it will be so safe that we will get our just deserts from our own countries military installation.  Do you think that anyone who is as liberal as he cares if our country goes down?  Remember the Anthrax, and think 10x anthrax.

Our country needs to prepare for the rest of the anthrax that hasn't been delivered.  Stock up on Cipro.  And, pray.  At least Palin has the mooses jawbone to say 'Kodiak (an ISLAND off Alaska) won't go down in flames.'  She is protective of even the islands.  There are people who want to protect the USA and there are people who don't care and want to 'comply with NATO' on everything.  NATO is not exactly known for anything except 'peacekeeping' and is not allowed to protect citizens.  What happened for Mr. Shinseki when he was commanding NATO forced for peacekeeping mission in Boznia-Herzegovina?  I'm not saying he's not a patriot - i'm just saying - are we under sovereign military or NATO now?

Is it really so 'mental' to worry about who will become the next President of your country?  I think it is wayy more mental not to care.  Granted, the whole thing reeks of conspiracy by both the news media, news magazines like TIME, and the fact that the Supreme Court even - is not really hearing the public's concern that we have not been told 'the honest truth.'

We haven't even been assured yet - although the Obama team wants you to believe it - that Obama was born in Hawaii.  His birth certificate is a 'certification of birth' not a 'birth ceritificate.'  The vaulted one is suspicious because it is SEALED.  Nobody but Obama or family can view it.  But, this suspicion should have been alleviated before he got into the Senate.  Alan Keyes asked Obama when he was being elected to the Senate about his 'natural born' status and Obama told him 'I'm running for Senator, not President.'  Now...he IS running for President.

People say 'oh, you mean the u-tube viewing of his grandmother from Kenya saying she witnessed his birth.'  Yep.  And, also, the fact that his other grandmother agreed!  She was also there.  IN Mombasa, Kenya - and witnessed his birth and SAID SO.  Interestingly, that is two against one - in HIS OWN FAMILY.  Well, then you can also ask his half-bro and sis.  Of course, they may be told now to say otherwise.

Where is the obituary of Ms. Dunham and which mortuary did she go to and what exactly did she die from?  Why is OBama leaving the funeral to be at the end of this month?  If he is so loving towards her - does he also wonder how she voted in absentee ballot for him when she declared (fully conscious) that she was 'undecided' a while back.  I'm just wondering if she was knocked off for one more vote?  Just wondering.  Of course, now - it won't matter.  If one can knock off one's own family members - how much easier to knock off dissenters.

It is common knowledge now that Kenyan Ambassador Peter Ogengo stated at one point that people in Mombasa would create a shrine for Obama's birthplace.  This was retracted, but his statements are there to view.  The hospital was Coast Provincial or something like that.  Ann Dunham was pregnant and could not fly at her advanced stage - so was forced to give birth where she actually was.  Hawaii granted 'certification' when she returned - after Obama receiving the blessing from an Imam granting his middle name Hussein (meaning he was blessed and pronounced muslim).

A great grandson of this Imam now has proof of most everything and is being kept hushed because of the furor that people might have over the 'natural born' problem.  People worry about racial riots - but why?  Is Obama really half Kenyan?  I don't know - some say his background is actually part Egyptian.  He has a real desire to give his first Foreign Policy address from Cairo, Egypt.  He has said so himself recently.  Barack is an Egyptian name.

Now, for people who don't believe this or say - this is hearsay - PROVE OTHERWISE.  Nothing but insults will follow - but insults just prove my case!  Even Obama uses this tact instead of just producing his birth certificate.

On December 15th the Electoral College will likely vote him in to prevent racial riots.  But, remember - is Obama really representing African-Americans the way honest African-Americans want to be represented?  Alan Keyes, Independent Candidate for President - is also African-American and has challenged the 'natural born' status also.  The Supreme Court did not hear his case even though he is the MOST QUALIFIED candidate and should have been heard wayyy over Donifrio.  The way it all works is that 'time crunch' is in Obama's favor.  Nobody has time to review the facts - although they are presented time and again for those who are interested.

Ties to Bill Ayers, ties to Rev. Wright (not exactly bi-partisan or even for America), ties to Chicago mafia, ties to Rezko (slumlord), ties to a murder of someone called Donald Young, no grandmother now...what else do you want to know about the 'next' President.

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO WRITE THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE AND SAY ' WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT NATURAL BORN STATUS BEFORE HE IS SWORN IN ON THE KORAN.'  WE WANT TO KNOW IF OBAMA IS A PATRIOT OF THE US OR HAS DUAL PATRIOTISM.  Remember, Odinga is a 'partner' with Obama and has allowed mass genocide himself.

Here is an example of Obama's foreign policy with his own birth country:
 Monday, November 24, 2008
Kenyan Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Peter Ogengo, Admits Obama Born in Kenya
Update 24 NOVEMBER 28: Kenyan Ambassador Peter Nicholas Rateng’ Oginga Ogego appears to be finding himself in hot water both in Washington and in Kenya. However, that hot water is not due to his on-air comments to Detroit's WRIF FM 101 "Mike in the Morning" program regarding Barack Obama's Kenyan birthplace, the hot water is due to Ambassador Ogego's stinging criticism of Senator Barack Obama before Mr. Peter Oginga Ogego officially became Kenya's Ambassador to the United States on 5 September 2006 and two years prior to Barack Obama's apparent victory in the U.S. Presidential election.

Mr. Ogego's criticism of Senator Obama was as follows according to the Kenyan Daily Nation newspaper:
“You deliberately, without real cause or reason, other than what appears to be to seek cheap publicity and inconsequential populism, chose to publicly attack the democratically elected Government of Kenya, in total disregard for the requisite protocol and acceptable methods to address the issues you raised, what with programmed appointments to meet Cabinet ministers and even the Head of State, since your visit was official.”

In 2006, speaking as a Kenyan citizen Mr. Ogego was rightfully incensed at Barack Obama's insertion of himself into Kenyan politics as well as Barack Obama's uncalled for attack on the democratically elected Government of Kenya during an official visit to the country. This blatant interference in Kenyan politics occured when Barack Obama was in Kenya to campaign and provide financial support to his cousin, Raila Odinga, prior to the violence which was deliberately set in motion by the Odinga camp when he lost the election. Violence we have detailed in this blog previously. Keep an eye on Ambassador Ogego, this is not over by a long shot. For the record, Ambassador Ogego's diplomatic portfolio is HERE.

22 NOVEMBER 2008: During a recent program aired on Detroit's WRIF 101 FM "Mike in the Morning" radio program a decision was made to make a phone call to the Kenyan Embassy in Washington D.C. for the obvious purpose of having a little fun and in order to congratulate Kenyan's on the occassion of Barack Obama's election.

During the course of the call Mike and his co-host Trudy were connected to the Ambassador's office and after a short conversation with a secretary the Ambassador, His Excellency Peter OGEGO, pictured below, picked up the call.

At approximately 12:30 into the MP3 recording another of Mike's co-hosts asks Ambassador, "President-elect Obama's birthplace over in Kenya, is that going to be a national spot to go visit, where he was born?"

Ambassador Ogego responds, "It's, um, already an attraction. His, his, uh, pateral grandmother is still alive..."

The questioner then interjects, "But his birthplace, they'll put up a marker there?"

Ambassador Ogego responds, "It depends on the government, it's already well known."

Kenyan Ambassador Peter Ogego just annouced to the whole world on live radio that our assumed President-elect Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, his birthplace is already an attraction, and placing a marker is up to the Kenyan government, but the location is already well known, intimating the the location does not need anything further to distinguish it.
This admission is a confirmation of the multiple statements made by Obama's paternal grandmother, referenced by Ambassador Ogego, about Obama's Kenyan birthplace.

Listen to the call via MP3 provided by Mike in the Morning and WRIF.

Uphold the U.S. Constitution -
Demand of your Senator and Representative in the House as well as the Supreme Court of the United States that they uphold the Constitution of the United States of America, Article II, Section 1: "No person except a natural born citizen ... shall be eligible to the office of President;" and to this end the President of the Senate shall not count as valid any electoral votes from any state elector cast for Barack Hussein Obama.

Oh shut up, he's been elected...tough luck. You have three possible solutions:

1. Move country.
2. Put up with Obama, because you can't do anything about it.
3. Kill yourself.

You can't do anything, so please stop your juvenile moaning! You behave like a little brat that isn't getting her own way, so throws a temper tantrum to get attention.

Well, if you call the election of a 'liberal' (I use inverted commas because he's only liberal by the notoriously illiberal standards of American politics) by a nation with a clear majority of liberal-thinking inhabitants a conspiracy, then yes, I guess you have a point.

As for where Obama was born, why does it matter? Come to that, which branch of Judaism he happens to belong to seems largely irrelevant, except that if he did turn out to belong to the Moslem branch (HIGHLY unlikely) it might possibly go some way towards reassuring some of the countries which view America, with reasons, as an aggressor.

Brat?  Do you know that Clarence Thomas (btw, he is a Supreme Court Justice) had the honest to pass around the Donofrio case and also ask about the Writ of Ceriorari which questions the 'natural born' status of our next US PRESIDENT.

This is interesting, too - being from another African-American.  You may say 'racist.'  But, this is ESSENCE magazine here:

ESSENCE.COM: What exactly do you want to accomplish with this lawsuit?
ALAN KEYES: I had read a little bit about the issues that were being raised about Obama back during the primary season. At first I thought, like a lot of people, "There's nothing to this. It's just a matter of fact. You can establish what the facts are." The Constitution specifies that a citizen who is naturalized, rather than born into the status of being an American citizen, cannot be president. That was done in the beginning because people feared a foreign takeover of the United States government by the process of immigration. Staid as it is, we again are in a situation where a lot of foreign entities have influence or control over U.S. policy.

The reason an issue has been raised about Obama is because of the simple question, which can be answered with a birth certificate that shows he was born in the United States, or born to parents who had the capacity to transmit U.S. citizenship. When the question was asked, he danced around it. If the most important office of the federal government can be occupied by someone who is not qualified under the United States Constitution, that destroys the authority of the Constitution. I think it's something that needs to be dealt with in a clear, straightforward way. Eventually the case will get to the Supreme Court, establish the facts, and clear the air. It's really all very simple.

ESSENCE.COM: The Obama campaign responded to these questions months ago by posting a birth certificate on his campaign Web site, showing that he was born in Hawaii.
KEYES: A lot of questions have been raised about what they posted. It has to be established by a matter of fact, not by some Web site. The state of Hawaii needs to share the birth certificate with the Supreme Court, so they can take a look at it. When I went into the government as part of the United States foreign service, you had to submit an original copy of your birth certificate. People have been dancing around Obama's certification instead of going straight to the answer.

ESSENCE.COM: What's wrong with the birth certificate on his Web site?
KEYES: Part of the problem is, at the time he was born, the state of Hawaii was issuing certificates of live birth. That's what he has on the Web site. They would issue that certificate verifying you were born, but not necessarily in the United States. And there is question that, at the time that he was born, his mother was not yet of age to transmit citizenship. You had to be 19, I think. If he was born in Hawaii, then he is a natural born citizen. If he was born somewhere else-and a question has been raised if his birth was in Kenya-then his mother would not have transmitted citizenship. One needs to verify that the certificate verifies the birthplace.

ESSENCE.COM: State officials from the health department of Hawaii have verified that they have Obama's birth records, and that he was indeed born in Hawaii. Do you think they're lying?
KEYES: I don't think anything. Just let it be verified. This is not something that should be taken on hearsay. This is the most important office. Everything should be done without controversy, in such a way that the Constitutional requirements are met. If something is contrary to the Constitutional requirement, then you have to do away with that. It's not on Obama to do this. The folks with whom this burden presently rests are the officials who are now responsible for the process, who sit on the Supreme Court and other areas. They have to abide by their oaths to preserve and defend the Constitution, and not have him entering into office with a question they refuse to resolve.

ESSENCE.COM: Why didn't you bring this up earlier, during the campaign? Why wait until two months before the inauguration?
KEYES: The election is the time when the people make the judgment, not government officials. The problem in this case is, Obama was not properly vetted-by the media, or other individuals-during the campaign. They refused to look at it. People went to the polls with the issue unresolved. Once the electoral process is done, then the responsibility for certifying the results and making sure it's all according to the Constitution rests on the officials. So we're at a different stage of the process. I don't believe it would be a good idea to turn to the government to establish the qualifications of people who are running for office. That could be abused to limit the options of the people. If people are behaving with integrity, these facts would come out and then people would be able to make their judgment. This didn't happen.

ESSENCE.COM: To a lot of people, your lawsuit looks like a case of sour grapes because you lost. Your response?
KEYES: I think politics is irrelevant to this, actually. I don't see how it is showing fondness for Barack Obama to let him enter into office with a question that could be raised. He should not have to operate under that burden. I think the officials need to clear the air for his sake. From my point of view, it is a bad idea to have a president of the United States enter office with a cloud hanging over his head, where every time he tries to do something, he would end up frittering away time because of that objection. So let's get it over with. Let's resolve it and move forward with a clear an undisturbed mandate for the new president.

ESSENCE.COM: For argument's sake, let's say Obama is only a naturalized citizen, and was raised by Americans and grew up in the United States. What difference does that make to you?
KEYES: It makes a difference to the Constitution. The Constitution has to be obeyed. If we get into a position where it is somehow regarded as dispensable then this country will fall apart. Black people should be the first folks to remember that. Without adherence to the Constitution our battles would have never been won. I don't want to live in a country where we are suddenly back in a world where the force of majority rules. I don't think any of us do.

ESSENCE.COM: Would you be in support of amending that section of the Constitution?
KEYES: No, I would most certainly not. Today we are in more danger as a people of being subverted by foreign powers than we were when it was founded. It is possible, under our present rules in America, for folks from another country to come visit America, to have a child here, to take that child back to wherever, raise that child there, and that child would be an American citizen. Do we really think it would be right to have a person who has not lived in America, does not identify with our people, to run here as president of the United States?

ESSENCE.COM: That's a different situation from what's being questioned about Barack Obama.
KEYES: Rules have to be written in general. You can't write a rule in every particular case. The rules established in the Constitution are general rules that have been abided by people throughout the history of this country. People have been excluded from running for president, people like Arnold Schwarzenegger. One has to think of the common good. This isn't a question of individuals anymore. The key thing about the presidency, in my opinion, is that the person above all takes responsibility for the common good of the country. Our public officials do not swear allegiance to a country; they swear an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. That's something to be taken very seriously. Those are the rules.

The question is not if Obama is 'judeo-Christian' although it would relieve some tension to know that if he says truth or just speaks lies when he says he is part of a church (reverend wrights) that is Christian.  I don't really think his mother was religious at all per se.  I don't think he went to a Christian church as a young boy.  I really have no idea if he believes in G-d.  I do know, however, his stance on abortion.

Now, what is interesting is that the Supreme Court which is mostly made up of Catholics -are refusing to ask for the Writ to be approved so that the general public may know for sure that the  Birth Certificate of Obama is truly from and certifies a LIVE BIRTH in Hawaii.  What makes this frustrating for most people wanting to know the truth is that no Hospital in Hawaii has records of Stanley Ann  Durham giving birth there.  Also, there is no official seal on his birth certificate and no doctors signature.

Now...given enough time - I'm sure a forged cert will show up.  Hopefully, not like the 'certification' which was photoshopped - the edges were not similar to the ones given out in 1961, no official seal, no hospital mentioned, no doctor signature -and lots of white out - when you look really close.  Also, the number and all is blacked out.  It has 'certification of birth' instead of 'birth certificate.'

He'll need all this information plus a doctor and nurse who were at his birth in 1961 (not so long ago).  How come, after all this time, nobody in Hawaii will testify they were at his birth?  And, yet - his own grandmothers are honest and tell us why!  They say - he wasn't born in Hawaii.

Now, Obama can print all the coins he wants with HAwaii on the back.  It doesn't prove to the AMerican public he was born in hawaii.  It proves he is a scammer and will do anything to get his way.  THAT IS A BRAT.

What exactly are you suggesting?
It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.

A world, in short, totally unlike our own.

I can't resist suggesting that that seems, on recent form, a completely necessary qualification for becoming president of the USA.

Or even Judaeo-Christian-Moslem - since historically they're just sects of the same religion?

But of course if he's prepared to admit to being atheist I give him credit for the biggest cojones in recent political history.

As far as I know 'cojones' is Spanish, isn't it? I think it must have got picked up from the many Spanish-speaking Americans and came into general use, and then spread across the Atlantic to the UK. It's not the commonest term here for that particular item of anatomy, though.

I am suggesting that all we know about Obama is what he tells us.  However, his own family doesn't seem to corroborate his story.  IE his TWO grandmothers.  According to the bible - a judge should listen to two witnesses over one.  Sooo....what i am suggesting here is that unless Obama relinquishes his supposed right to break the US constitution law (and yes, his mother was under 19 by two months - and was not the legal age to pass citizenship by a birth - even if one is born in kenya) he will be the first unlawful President to set foot in office.  He will be constitutionally ineligible and will have to continue to set up lies and perjury to confound those who know the truth.

Why doesn't he just pony up the live birth certificate (and fairly soon so we know it isn't forgery) - and get a dna test.  After all, some say he isn't even Obama's son.  I don't know that for a fact - but the strange thing is there doesn't seem to be a marriage certificate (so far) that anyone corroborates between him and Stanley Ann Dunham.  I believe he adopted Mr. Obama, yes - but how could he even do that legally if we can't find a marriage certificate. Are there two things that are hidden within this SEALED certificate.  The location of birth AND the lack of a father on the birth certificate?  I'm just wondering.  It isn't right that the American public have to guess on this.  We want to know and have a right to know - and a right to a proper VETTING before VOTING.  Suspicions mount when Mr. Obama's father never visited him or gave him the time of day as a father.  It is said that he was already married at the time he met Stanley Ann.  It is also said that they married with nobody in attendance or around - so who can corroborate unless they had a civil union and nobody checked to see if the guy was already married.  In Kenya, having several wives is ok.

WHY IS THIS AN ISSUE?  Hmmm.  Let me see.  It wouldn't be an issue if Obama hadn't run for President under the pretence that he was BORN IN  HAWAII, HAS A LIVE BIRTH CERTIFICATe, MINTS COINS BEFORE HE IS ANNOUNCED BY THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE TO BE PRESIDENT, AND HAS A LARGE ANNENBERG FOUNDATION BEHIND FACTCHECK.  which is supposed to check facts.  Wierd.  Just Wierd.  Can't they just accept that people want information before they make decisions.  What does he take the American public for. MORONS.

I'd accept a black President if he was properly vetted.  Unfortunately, Mr. Obama has nixed his own racial card by not allowing Alan Keyes to have the proper amount of votes that he could have gotten LEGALLY as an Independent candidate.  I'd say Mr. Obama is the one who needs to check the race card.

We all know you are upset that your war mongering tambo banger did not get elected, but your witterings are acheiving nothing other than to hopefully get you banned for spamming again.

Obama has been democratically elected by a majority of the people of the USA and there is nothing you can do about it. Hopefully now there will be peace, no more invasions of other countries and trigger happy, bible bashing, sandal wearing, intolerant pea brains like you will be banned from any office of power.

Lawlessness will come back on those who choose it as a way of life.  He may end up making it to the highest position in the world.  That of President of the United Nations.  I suppose they don't need to check birth cert's there because he's a son of the world.  It won't matter to them - especially if it means having the USA as part of their territory.  Now, Thal - tell me that you don't have any patriotic tendencies towards your own country or the USA.

Does anyone know FOR SURE if Obama is a natural born citizen of the USA and under the Constitution of the USA has a legal right to be President?  Just answer YES or NO.  That's what you ask of me on certain questions!

Not to be prophetic or anything - but my suspicions are that if he makes it into office illegally - he will draft an ammendment to the constitution about 'natural born' requirement and thus save himself more lying.  You know, our founding fathers were aware of the problems dual citizenship could pose to the singular committment a President should have for his own country.  It is one thing to be meek and humble and another to be insanely pompous.  Helping other countries is good.  Feeding dictatorships is not.

Tell me anything that Barack Obama has said that really reasonates with you?  Change?  Does he specify what change?  He is now in the process of realizing that 'change' with Hillary Clinton at the fore.  Hillary is NOT change.  Where will Bill be?  Sitting idly by?  He knows a lot you know.  PS About Abraham Lincoln - where did some of the stuff go that was in HIS room in the white house?  Charity gifts.  It's ridiculous how things that are valuable to our countries history are LIFTED.  Right under our noses.  Under whose watch?  Clintons!

If Abraham Lincoln were alive today, he'd ask to be shot again.

Hopefully, he will introduce enforced steralisation of religious fanatics, so people like you cannot breed.
