Nope. It's changed now. The variables didn't work like you thought because there was another one (confounding) influencing it.
Plus, you looked at it, and that changed it.


Essentially, you were off in terms of concept and understanding from the beginning. Now you're just left with a giant experimental mess to clean up. And there's probably nothing really useful from the whole endeavor, so you just wasted a lot time and effort, producing zero actual results.
