Not necessarily. Don't be convinced that because he works in Information Technology, he automatically knows a lot about computers. I trained to be a chef at one point, took a college course and got qualifications and a hygiene certificate, that doesn't mean I can walk out and open a 5-star restaurant and be able to cook Lobster Thermador.

So whatever job you do, doesn't mean you automatically know everything, or a lot about it.
