It might similarly "do it" for any Sorabji freaks that happen to regard beardedness as an essential qualification for entrance to their lair - not that I've ever come across any such folk myself, but there are apparently those who seem to think that sporting a beard and interest in Sorabji are somehow synonymous, for some reason or none...

I apologise for intruding on your beard obsession (again!), but I really do not buy this idea; I have had a beard since 1978 and the reason why I grew it was quite simply because, at that time, I'd happened to be in a very remote part of the north of Norway for quite some while during which my electric shaver (shameful, I know!) broke down and, as I could not get a repair or replacement, I was unable to shave and, when I returned to Scotland after this trip I found that I couldn't be bothered to get rid of the growth. I really do not believe that these circumstances suddenly conferred upon me an "intelligence" that I did not previously possess (assuming that I possessed any in the first place).
