Here is a self portrait I did with colored pencils. This thing took me months! It doesn't look exactly like me, but pretty close. I finished it May 2008.

I like your self portrait you did, its looks like you, as I saw a photo of you on here! Keep up the good work. Are you going art college? you would do well there.

I havn't done many self portraits or things like that since I was a art college!

I have had two art teachers, and both of them openly expressed their opinions about my artwork. They both feel that I could definitely take art throughout my life, and have even suggested going to college for art. As much as I enjoy drawing, I am already fairly certain I want to major in music for college. But, I am only 15, and my choice may change...I have seriously thought about it though. I enjoy music more though...

Thanks again though! I'm glad you liked them. My favorite mediums to use are graphite,  and pen-and-ink...What about you?

Thats ok , I pursued a carrier in art, I'm only a beginner on the piano! I went art college for 3 years and then university for 3 years ( I'm 23 ) to do graphic design, so thats what I do now.

I work mostly on the computer, but I have always liked using pencil. But I like combining it with felt tips now to get a bold street art style. 

Haven't used graphite or charcoal since I was at college! it messy I have one somewhere!

Cool! Well, I've only played piano for about 4 1/2 years, violin for 5 months, voice for 4 years...I'm not sure yet what instrument to major in though...You can see my dilemma in my signature...lol

Yes, my favorite is definitely pencil. And I LOVE drawing portraits of people. I still can't make the drawing look exactly like the person, but you can tell who it is..

intresting! I have only been learning the piano for almost a year and have only 5 lessons with a teacher, lol.

I moslty draw weird characters and animals, but I also like painting and other stuff. Good luck with your music! I wish I stated learning the piano earlier but oh well.

That's quite an achievement for a mere fence, wouldn't you say? (No, of course I don't mean that - I'm just practising abit of Thalbergmadness)...

Looking at your later ones on the Fortunate Islands more commonly known as the Scillies (delightful place that it is!), you really are quite an islander, are you not?

It's called the "pictures!!" thread - as I see it the subject is simply pictures, weather it is of yourself or not.  Besides, some of the really good artwork being posted here would be less fortunate to such law.

hi csharp_minor, thank you for your kind words. yes, i think you and petter are right about the size and font of the letters. i received this picture ( of cd cover ) only the other day, and i had no say about it, coz it wasn't made by me but by one of my audience who happened to attend to one of my recitals.

Well - try not to get too wet. Isn't it a shame that Hay-on-Wye is so far from the sea? (apart from the fact that water and rare secondhand books don't go too well together...)

You've said you've been playing around with the piano on your own for awhile .. have you formed any personal ideas or theories? Made any breakthroughs? Have a question bother you in the back of your mind? Do start a topic about it .. I get the vibe that you're an interesting person.

I have a huge "déjà-vu" with this type of photograph.  The thing with the reflection in the piano, the face close to the keys, smile... it has been done so many times. Perhaps you should try to photoshop the picture and choose a serene face physically and keep the smiling face in the reflection.  At least do something different.   Good luck anyways with the CD.

I have to say that none of the pictures suit my image of you. Something very random would be more suited, although would say nothing about the CD.
