I am unhappy with my piano playing. I would go attempt to fix it but my brother is practicing.

How high is it soaring? Surely you have a sore one! Anyway, I hope you recover from it soon.

That is a bit like saying Hero of Alexandria and not James Watt invented the steam engine.

The Swiss perfected the cuckoo clock.

I'm surprised, but it also seems to capture my take on Germans -- logical and precise, but also a bit insane sometimes.

I'm anxious to start playing on the grand pianos at my university!!  3 more days!

I went to the 4th floor of the music building, and randomly walked by "Studio of Angela Hewitt", and inside there was a nice grand piano.  I didn't even know she had a studio there, and it would be pretty awesome if I happened to walk by her one day.  Just the atmosphere of that building, the library, the billions of pianos, the auditorium; I want to live there!

I'm also bored out of my mind because my Xbox is broken, and it's too late to go out and do anything  :-\
Interested in discussing:

I was just weeding my yard and I got pricked on my left wrist and it itched very badly. When it stopped I went back to weeding and then I was more aggressive than Weissenberg's Bach partita no.3 in A minor.

Now my left wrist is floppy. I hope it does not effect my piano playing.

Tired with work piling up.  This gets old.  I even made progress on some projects today but put off others and now I have a pile of other stuff that has to be done with less time to do it.  I can't win.

I'm tired of being in the office and I've only been here 2.5 hours. I'd rather be practicing on the piano as for the past couple of nights my son has had other plans for my time in not wanting to sleep correctly. so, I'm missing it.

I'm doing OK, got in a fight with dad and have moved in with a friend for a bit til they cool down. Could be a bit though, was rather violent...I miss my piano too  :(
Other than that everything is good, having fun times with the girlfriend (she's fantastic!) and doing a course in Security Operations so I can be a security guard/technician.
Should I be posting in the Intro thread again? Haven't been here in a while :P

If you don't feel like hearing me complain about my life just gloss over this message.

So my class had a science test, only 1 person passed and it was the person I feel competitive with  >:( the only reason why he passed it because he had done mass, volume and density before for geometry (mass, volume and density is what the test was on). I am still mad though. But don't worry, I have a social studies test tomorrow that I know I am going to get a very good grade on  :)

please humor me, I actually think you care about this.

I think you should get a piano.

Years ago i had a goldfish and one day it was looking pretty bored. I put the bowl on the piano and played a few pieces and he started moving around a lot more.

I came to the conclusion that piano music is good for goldfish, so perhaps it would do your fish some good as well.

Best to avoid playing any Schumann, as this will destroy any positive effects.

Thank you. I think I did very well except I know I got 1 question wrong. I had to write the definition for the word "borough" (the section of NYC) and I did not know it was that form  :( I am pretty sure I got everything else correct though.
