Two to five percent of your body weight is bacteria.
Heard that before. The full name of a certain protein spans 189,819 letters. Thankfully, it's also called titin.
There's a couple of protiens with outrageous names like that.
Redheads take approximately 20% more anesthetic when being knocked out for surgery.
I think I've seen this somewhere. It's strange, though.
Along those lines...Blondes have ~140,000 hair follicles on their head, brunettes ~100,000, redheads ~85,000
It is rumored that Scriabin had homosexual relations with other men.

Guilt by association. Who of the Russian Greats will be the next victim? Rachmaninov himself?Paul
Surely it would be more surprising if he had homosexual relations with other women.
They already got him too lol.

Who really cares? Would it make his music better or worse?
That's exactly my point: who cares? At least those who have trouble with their own emancipation seem to care. Why else those systematic stains on the sacred heritage of famous people?
As a matter of fact, to get this over with really fast, I suggest creating a computer program in which we can enter a certain database of suspect homosexuals for ALL nationalities:1) any male musician who ever had lessons from a male piano teacher;2) any male musician with at least some signs of "effeminacy" in any of his works;3) any male musician who ever married a Jewish woman, since this seems to "prove" some hidden deficiency of masculinity;4) any male musician who ever wrote somewhat too kind letters to male recipients;5) any male musican of small posture with close friends who were big;6) any male musician who plays or played just too well7) any male musician with roots in Russia, since Imperial Russia as a whole was pervert;
I just find it very sad that in this age someone (possibly) being a homosexual would in any way make a stain on their heritage
So what about the female composers/musicians?
in Finland there are approx 4.9 million saunas for its 1.4 million people, there are more saunas than cars.(numers are dated could very well be much more now)https://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=19930209&slug=1684482
The reporter must have been a bit confused...1,4 million people? Maybe 500 years ago...There were already 4,9 when I was in school, and now it's over 5 million. And there are more cars now (registered 2,9 million in 2011), although quite a few saunas too (some estimates say about 2 million).
that was funny, and the way you said it reminded me of Alistair!
- Did you know that the name of a 3 year old was refused to be put onto his birthday cake? Did you know that there are parents who are ignorant enough to name their child that?!https://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28269290/ns/us_news-weird_news/t/-year-old-hitler-cant-get-name-cake/#.UPJ3bOTql2A
I've only just seen this, so dare I ask you to explain in what way/s it did so and for what reasons? (or maybe you were referring to some other Alistair - there are quite a few of us, after all)...Best,Alistair
