Well, since this thread has descended into total randomness, I figure I might as well contribute now with an amusing anecdote.

Earlier today, I was in the mood to listen to some Rachmaninoff. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to listen to a concerto or a sonata, but had something in mind, so in goes the YouTube search bar, "rachmaninoff piano sonata no 3".

I thought for a second, then burst out laughing. Oh, brain.

Quite. The quote marks are superfluous.  It's my favourite Rach Sonata, btw. Much in the manner Thalbergmad is especially fond of Schumann's Second Piano Concerto.
