I guess you're quite happy with that outstanding Hyperion CD collection of Romantic Piano Concerto's?
How fortunate we are for labels such as Hyperion, who explore the repertoire outside that everybody already knows ad nauseam.
Indeed few things are as pleasurable as nosing through the contents of small, inconspicuous looking old book and record stores. Found some interesting things that way!

There are a couple that i did not care for and would not listen to again, but generally, listening to the Hyperion series was a journey of incredible joy.

This is one of the reasons why i get angry when people praise concertos like the Schumann, as i feel there are hundreds that are by far superior.

Hopefully this series will continue for many years. There must be at least another 20 - 30 years worth of rarely/never played romantic type concerti.

I hope to recieve Concerto's nos. 1 and 3 by Hans Huber this week, d'ya know these?

I have read through a couple of them, but do not remember them making a huge impression on me.

I tend to forget very quickly music that does not appeal to me, whereas i remember forever that which does.

And here is me at the same recital, playing "Deux Arabesque" by Claude Debussy, on a $118,000 grand piano.    

I play that song...the DEux Arabesque....But I am a little bit confused. You played at a recital and had your wedding on the same day??? Wow.... Isn't your wedding on May 22? Or am i getting the dates mixed up.

NO in fact i am homeschooled and recently i started a part time school and nobody has played any jokes on me..Only my brothers, but they joke around...They dont say they are getting married. The kids at school act like i have a disease and they all stay away from me.
