the pic is her after she put on quite lot of weight, at one point she was really thin.

so she didnt quite have tuberculosis, but she has had tough issues.

we're sorry to hear it.  i never complained about her, but i did tell nils on you.  kind of like a flat tire on a bike.  u yell down the trail 'flat tire - need a fix' - or 'do u have a cell phone' and noboday hears  - so then u try 'fire, fire.'   

what i find interesting is that none of us thinks we have issues until they come up.  then - we're surprised at how many other people have similar issues.  it's good to get help.  to talk to other people.  to not be alone.

take the emergency room, for example.  u think ur really hurting, and someone is always worse.  for a minute - u let go of ur own pain and look over at the person with a knife in their eye.  (or, as with last year - the man with the chainsaw in his leg).  i can't tell u how many times i've been int he emergency room with my kids. 

this year - it is issues of school, etc. with my son.  but, he's coming out of them and hopefully will survive the teen years.  sometimes things look dreadfully hopeless to him - but i try to explain (as someone did to me) 'it's only a moment in time.'  our brains cannot handle excessive information or suggestions sometimes.  and, the smallest words of kindness or nice action from someone can mean a lot.  proud of u stevie for helping.
