Giovanni Bellucci's musical talent emerged in 1979, when he was just fourteen and had discovered the piano by accident. Self-taught, Bellucci more or less immediately performed Beethoven’s 32 Sonatas to the astonishment of critics, among them Piero Rattalino, who called Bellucci "a force of unleashed nature". Now, after almost half a century of perfecting his interpretation of these works, Bellucci has recorded the entire cycle.
