Normal people use capitals to place emphasis on a particular part of a sentence/post.  When entire posts are capitalized, nothing is emphasized, it's just annoying.  You sound like a moody adolescent arguing with their parents when you speak like "ugh new rules to stop me typing like a dick???".

Get used to it. People aren't going to censor a few words for one member who happens to be younger than everyone else.

No, that's not what I said.

But however, you will notice most people are not your age. They have the majority. The majority rules.

Hello everyone, I am from Indonesia. Does anyone know where it is  ;D
Well I learn piano since 13 years old. But then I stop when I go architecture college, I stop about 10 ten years, and I just play it again for the last 4 years. I got good teacher for my piano and now I teach at a local music course for children (just the basic music). I am doing Valse in e minor op. posth by Chopin.
I just found out this web for a week and I love it. Thanks to everyone!

Hello! I´m Tritonus and I come from Saxony, which is situatet in east Germany, so sorry for my baaaad english. I play piano since 10 years, I started with 6 years. While this time I had 3 teachers.
Now I´m playing the 3. movement of Moonlight Sonata of Beethoven, Gopak by Mussorgsky and the 3. Prelude by Chopin.
Rachmaninow, Chopin and  Chatchaturian are at this time my favourite composers.

So I´m going to school in the 10. class at a highschool (i don´t know, if that is the right name for my school...) and I also learn playing Organ, Clarinet, Flute and Guitar. Also I take drama-lesons, i like the nature and physics.

no, I haven´t. But an other user had "tritonus". So I had to choose a new name.
And in my German Forum for piano (www.clavio.de) i had to choose between Tinnitus or Tritonus. And there at least I took Tritonus. So i combined the 2 Names here :)

hey folks, I'm fermata, 19, from wisconsin. I'm originally from Philippines. I came here in the U.S 2 years ago so I'm sorry for my poor English. I'm studying at UW-Parkside studying music (of course) concentrating on PIano Pedagogy. I declared my major just last year coz my parents wanted me to take nursing but I chose music. I don't know where I'm gonna be if there is no music. Music rocks!

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd finally post an intro today.  I live in MI and have been playing the piano on and off for about 13 years.  I haven't played so much in the last few years though - I got married, changed jobs, decided to go back to school, and then life threw my family a curveball when my dad died suddenly back in 2005.  Playing the piano was the last thing on my mind.

However, my love for the piano will never go away.  I start lessons again this Friday after a 4 year break.  There is room for much improvement in my technique and overall playing, so I really look forward to taking lessons again.

I enjoy coming to this forum, there's a wealth of knowledge here.  Not to mention very amusing at times.  Can I say that the last few pages of this thread is just.. wow.  LOL ;D

Well, it's nice to know!

I'm from Australia and I've been playing piano for a very long time comparatively speaking.  This year will be my twelfth year of playing piano!  At the moment, I'm having "fun" bumming around for the in-the-distant-future LMusA exam.
I really can't see it sometime soon...

LOL tds.  ;D

I'm new. Truly.

Hi everyone. I'm db05, or just db. I'm a 19 year-old music student in the Philippines. Piano major, guitar minor. I've studied piano for one year now, under three teachers, current one my fourth. So I am practically nobody's student.  :P

I'm slightly more advanced on the guitar- took the Yamaha grade 9 exam last year, will take grade 8 soon, so wish me luck. I want to continue studying both piano and guitar. I hope that is possible.

You can check out my deviantART here: diablong-buang.deviantart.com

Musical frustration poetry. Apparently less emotional, not so if you imagine sloppy Chopin playing in the background. Like this maybe. https://diablong-buang.deviantart.com/art/The-Master-84231535
