I mean, to be fair, the series is probably one of the most kid-friendly video game series ever. (I may be biased, as I come from a world of stupidly hard games like Rain World, Celeste, Ghosts n' Goblins, and Battletoads...) It also definitely has some of the best music that I've ever heard in a video game, and has most of the few modern music pieces that I think are actually good.
