Don't worry Bob, you'll know who is who as soon as you engage them in a serious musical discussion. The hoaxers won't be able to continue or will fall silent.

Could be a musical hoaxer, but probably generally true.

But they won't have the depth. I doubt they would even enter into a discussion.

What happens when it goes to the bathroom?  How long are they going to take care of it?  And then what happens to it?  Are they going to keep building bigger wagons for it?  What about when it's not so cute anymore?

Someday.... Someday there will a cure for rabbit leg paralysis.  We'll be able to restore hopping ability to creatures such as this.  Someday....

Bob! I think it's a he not an it!
And probably he doesn't have that on all the time. And if people are really good people they will take care of him for the rest of his life! And I think it will be even easier if he gets bigger because there are wagons like that for dogs. There was one dog like that here where we live (but then I think they moved away), so there are even better bigger wagons than this one. And so what would happen if people only took care of people who were sooo cute??!  :o
It's bad that people only like or love things and beings and people until it's fun and cute! And then when they would have to do something for someone then they just wanna get rid of them.

The doggy that we had before had problems with walking too when he got really older and he could still walk but sometimes we had to help him. So someone made this thing and we dressed him in that when we went for a walk and helped him walk. And then once there was this woman when we went for a walk, and she just started saying: Oh he's suffering you should just take him to the vet and help him die... and things like that. And I mean she didn't even know him!!! How could she know if he was suffering or not?? I mean sure it's bad if you can't walk well but it doesn't mean you have to suffer. And I knew my dog and I knew he was still a happy dog! And still the same doggy that he always was! (except the last week before he died, he wasn't the same anymore, he was like not really here anymore, I think he was kinda somewhere else already, but before that he was still happy and he still wanted to live)! So I got really angry when that woman was saying that and I just got so angry I sad: I hope you drop dead really soon!!! (But she's still alive now after like 5 years, so I'm really glad about that, cause otherwise I would get REALLY scared that saying something bad can make something bad happen)!
And I didn't mind taking care of my doggy and helping him with things and waking up in the middle of the night to help him up or something! I didn't mind at all!!! But that's cause I really loved him soooo much!!

Today I thought of something, that strangely the artists I deeply, deeply like and want to hear play, are the same ones who I'd pay for the opportunity to experience them sitting on stage in silence.

I really don't understand you people. Who cares about a stupid high school exam? It's meaningless and worthless. Besides, you're gonna get an A anyway. What's the difference between a 95 and a 96????

I'm so angry at the people who are so concerned with that one mark when there are people (like me) who are sutruggling to pass courses.

No difference between 95 and 96... but I'm not even getting an A in the course.
But it doesn't matter because the exam  (writing part 2 tomorrow) is worth basically my entire grade, and will affect my mark in 2 courses, not one. If I fail the exam, I fail 2 courses, automatically.

I need this mark for uni, without it, I won't even go to university in the first place. I'm sorry that your struggling, and I know university's more important, but I still care about my high school grades, especially for these two courses. If it were meaningless, why couldn't we just skip high school and go to university? :(

sorry for sounding harsh, I've been having a tough time lately because I didn't try last year.

Anyway, I really do wonder why people have to go to highschool. It is quite meaningless.

You won't not make it to university because of one grade. Even two. Heck, I was getting 50s and 60s and here I am at U of T. Maybe you're aiming for something higher, which is great, but what I was trying to say is that marks is not everything, don't be so obssessed with marks. Sometimes people lose sight of what's really important, they lose sight of the purpose of school, which is to learn, not to get marks. I really hate the teacher's pets who forget everything the moment they get their report cards. Wanting to achieve is great, only caring about marks is just shallow.

I'm not saying you're one of those people, but when I think of them, I get angry.

That's great! One of the things I wonder about is why pets wander off. We think that regular food and a warm protected place to sleep would be enough to satisfy any animal but it isn't.

Are you in Brazil? Do you play in a Samba Band? I once assisted in a samba school. (I'm too old to march in parades any more. It was great fun to help out with logistics.)

On my mind right now. I feel guilty. After my exam I did nothing productive at all. Except play piano. Oh and I walked to my friend's house and we watched a movie. The only productive thing in doing that was popping popcorn. :D

Relax! :) I'm sure you won't fail! A couple of B's won't be the end of the world, regardless of what you're aiming for... I say this from experience ;) And I also disagree that high school is pointless... I can't imagine having gone to university at age 14... I mean, I suppose it would have been possible, but only if I started with the most basic classes. If you get the prerequisites out of the way in high school, there's a lot of really cool stuff to do in university (if you're willing to put in a lot of work, that is) :)
It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.

A world, in short, totally unlike our own.

Yeah thanks, I'm done my exams for now though. :) I'm so happy! It went well... but I swear this year's papers were easier than in previous years. So the benchmarks for a higher score might be higher, if everyone does really well.  Oh well, whatever.  ::)
I agree with you an ongaku oniko that it's not always about marks. But everyone in my class is aiming for one! I do think learning is more important. You know, after all that studying... I think I might like the subject now!

No the sun is going to set in a few hours :(

It's such a nice day today. Warm but not hot and nice and sunny! Made me want to do cartwheels and somersaults on grass and lie down and stare at the clouds... only I think I might be too old to do that now. Am I? o.o So I just played basketball with a few friends and then played in the playground. Haha. :)

Actually, no.  It's the 17th.  What's interesting is that on the 11th - wednesday - there is supposed to be a devastating earthquake, here, in Rome, in connection with some dormant volcano in the south.  (Not etna or vesuvio)  Not to be upstaged by any other mega-upheaval, Rome has decided to inaugurate the festivities...

So, you will be long time without a piano? It doesnt sounds fun to me.

Well I'll be without the piano... but I'll for sure take my keyboard with me!!! So it won't be so bad!  :)  :P

@thinkgreenlovepiano We're not going very far... we're just going to the other side of my country where there's sea!!  :P  8)
Oh why would you be too old for cartwheels and somersaults?? I mean if you feel like doing them then you're not too old and if you don't feel like doing them then you are too old  :P  :) It's just that simple!  8) You know that I don't know how to do a cartwheel  :-[ I wish I could learn how to do them. I'm hoping I will someday  :P
Oh well if there won't be the end of the world  :-\ I have my piano lesson on the 17th! You think I'll be able to have it before the world ends?  ::)

Please tell us you are not going to eat that fish.  Please.

--s.

I decided not to.   *Bob has learned the smell of fish that is too old to eat.*

*Bob begins cleaning up a glass of milk that happened to spill... in bed.*  I wish that was a joke too.  Ugh....

Oh I love vacations near the sea! Maybe one day I'll visit your country. You know a few years ago at school we had to do a project called "My Dream Vacation" and I did it on Slovenia :P !!
Haha I'm sure people look at me funny. Even when I was 12 I went to China and this person I met on the train thought I was in university because a) I could speak English fluently, and b) I was tall for my age!  ::) But you're right I shouldn't care what other people think. I still skip rope and go on the swings and monkey bars and all. ;D
And I'm sure you'll be able to learn how to do cartwheels. I didn't even know how to do a somersault until I was 11 or 12, before that I was scared of breaking my neck!  ::)

The end of the world can wait till after your piano lesson. And my birthday. And summer vacation. :) I mean people said that the world was going to end in 1994 but then that didn't happen and then people said 2000 but that didn't happen...  ::)
Looks like the world is a little reluctant to end.  so I'm sure it can wait a little longer, I wouldn't worry ;)

Anyway, it's another beautiful day out! This is like the perfect Mother's Day weekend! Except schoolwork ruins it a little.

Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there! :)

Really? Slovenia for your dream vacation?  :) How did you even heard about Slovenia? Here people say that noone even knows about Slovenia speacially not people in America! :) Well I guess you should really come to Slovenia someday then! :)  :P

Really you're tall too?  :) cool  8) Me too! And people say that all the time! I don't even know why I'm so tall cause my mum is really small :)
My friend said some people asked her at what university she was too!! And she doesn't even look older at all! I think people imagine that 12 year olds should look like babies or something!  ::) :P it's kinda funny! Even on youtube if you watch some videos of 11 or 12 year old kids people almost always say in the comments: you're not really 12! You look sooo much older! Are you really 12?! And once when I was only 10 someone thought I was a lot older too! I don't know exactly how old he thought I was but he just started talking to me as if I was a lot older... and I didn't even know he was talking to me at first and then my dad who was there too said: she is just a child! And then I was like  ??? But I guess that guy was a little weird.  :-\  :P

Oh you know that in my country Mother's day is not today but it was already on March 25th!!  :)

a tall asian girl means 1.60cm tall :D (which is like really short)

and yeah, there're are a lot of ignorant americans; they take for granted people will know what washington is, or wyoming, but don't know anything outside of the US.

Hmm, I don't know, I jut looked up "interesting vacation destinations" on Google or something and found Slovenia. The photographs I saw were so beautiful so I knew I had to pick Slovenia for my project. You know on my old computer my wallpaper was a photograph of Lake Bled :P (That's Blejsko jezero in Slovenian right ? :P)
Plus I really like geography and learning about other countries, especially the countries that "no one knows about". :)
Here in Canada a lot of people feel like no one knows about Canada either! I have a friend who was surprised to hear that we have summer over here  :o

But I've always said that after high school I'm going to go visit Europe with my friends. And I'll make sure we go to Slovenia!

Cool! My parents aren't that tall either... Another thing people always ask me if I play basketball! And when I tell them I play piano they're like that's good, because tall people have big hands. But I don't... My hands are smaller than most of my friends' and they're shorter than me, it's kind of weird! Oh well I'm still happy with the hands and height I've got. :)
Yes I think adults sometimes forget that 12 isn't thaaat young, anyone under 20 is a baby for them. ;D

Mother's day is in March? Cool, when is Father's Day? :D
