You have failed to notice that I am wearing a bong hat with battery acid flowing freely from it to my stomach.  And, I don't care.

*drenches the honey hamster in battery acid*

Yesterday we still had summer, today we have winter! Could we please get at least a few days of autumn too? That would be really great! (Cause this is a little shocking!  :o ) Thank you very much!  :)

Amen! Yesterday I was driving around with air conditioning and last night (for the first time this year) turned on the heating in the car. Although today we're getting a mini Indian summer (22C under clear skies).

We hope you get one too!

Thanks!  :) Well... it was a little better today... but just a little :) I hope it gets at least a little warmer again!

Bob, your honey hamster "timed out" of the honey badger's stomach.  Nothing you can do about it.

PS - BOB, I saw the honey badger commercial last night on TV  :D

Because there are a few things lately that have hurt my feelings.

Yeah, there is another thing that has hurt my feelings.  Recently some pictures from my last Opera Scenes (a year ago) was posted, and in them (though I wasn't tagged) there is one in the middle of my aria performance of Come Scoglio - and, I'm singing right at a guy in a chair and my mouth is HUGE and I look like I'm seriously going to devour him ...  :-[ :-[

*The honey hamster is impervious to both battery acid and kisses.*

I initially heard the "honey badger anthem."  Look it up on Ebaum's world, but be warned about the language.  That's my impression of honey badgers.

Then I saw the Randall version, which must be the actual original one.   Oi... I am impressed that something can withstand a snake bite or walk right into a bee hive.

Yeah, I know, I know.  But, honey badger aside, the real me in that photo looks like I could truly and actually inhale a hamster and am perhaps even getting ready to do so right then (which seems to indicate that I might *actually* be a honey badger) ... and, that's probably what I look like when I sing ... but, oh well, I guess  :-.  I'll just have to blow the roof off to make up for it  ;D.

People are probably sitting in the audience thinking ... "there that honey badger goes again, up there, she's getting ready to inhale another hamster ..."  ...

At least I wear a dress.

It's better than not having your mouth open while singing.  Or a bad pic.

*Thinks if Thal were here he'd make a joke about m1469 having a big mouth or women needing to keep their mouths shut, but I wouldn't say that myself.*  I would laugh at Thal saying something like that.

Maybe you or someone could photoshop in a hamster on that pic?

I saw that picture :) And it doesn't look weird or anything at al!! You look pretty m1469!  :) I mean it's normal for people to open their mouth when they're singing... I think it would be very weird and scary if you were singing and your mouth was closed...  :o Can you imagine that?!
I am completely sure noone thinks there's anything wrong with the picture!  :)

According to several choir conductors and voice teachers that I have met in my life it's not only normal but also desirable and inevitable, without any doubt :)

Yes, I suppose that it's most desirable to be opening my mouth while I am singing  :).

There's a picture of m1469?!  I always thought she was a muliple-personality who was everywhere at all times.  Where's the picture?

It's on Facebook.

I think what I realized that I especially "don't like" or am needing to get used to, anyway, is that I can tell what kind of person I am being right there, and it's not a calm and kind of serene state, generally, but rather my character (who I felt a connection with in that performance) is aiming to be completely controlling the scene and the people in it, and I'm mad and trying to shut those guys down.  And, that's what I look like to myself, too.  It's like a little bit like a beast  :-[, it's not just a girl singing calmly and pretty ... I look a little like a honey badger, actually.  But, I guess I'm going to need to get used to seeing photos of myself "in action" that I'm not necessarily used to seeing in myself, or in love with how it appears.

It's a little bit like hearing yourself speaking in a recording for the first time, and how it might sound weird to you.  There's actual reasons for that, like that when we speak we have extra resonance inside our heads that we hear inside our heads, but which are not heard outside our heads, so our voices sound different to us when we are hearing only what is outwardly heard.  Even though I can see more in myself in that photo than I'm used to, it's still like seeing from only the outside - and that's a little strange to me.

The stylist in me has a really difficult time with what I'm wearing, too  :P, as there's almost nothing about it that's doing me *any* favors.  But, oh well!  :P  I tend to get obsessive over things like this and I need to NOT do that, because it's completely not healthy for me and there is no reason to let that take over my entire everything!  There's WAY more that I need to be doing and way more to me than that!

Weird. ::)
I find that very sad.  It's obivious from the position of the ears, the arching of the back, the sucking of the tongue, that he's in pain.  And it's a sound that cats make when they're in danger or great physical discomfort.

The info says something about it doing that when a daughter or sister showed up one time.  I thought it was probably leery of that person.

It doesn't strike me as the most intelligent cat in the world.  I think it's freaking out about a stranger.

Sometimes I think "the terrorists" have really won in the sense of taking advantage of administrative stupidity.

https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20111014/02334516349/take-picture-your-4-year-old-daughter-eating-ice-cream-get-investigated-under-terrorism-act.shtml

Add a little political correctness so a terrorist can't be singled out for being a terrorist because that would make them feel bad....

I am interested :).

And, I was awoken in the 4 o'clock hour, pondering Bach, pondering these thoughts and questions ... and now, I'm writing in my journal.  I've moved my digital piano into the garage, and I'm gearing up to have a more real -more me- practice day, once again, after months and months it seems, thank goodness! There's been a deep and growing welling :).

Exotic animals running around loose is on my mind.  What a nut.

https://gma.yahoo.com/last-escaped-animals-being-hunted-down-zanesville-ohio-074109844.html

"...51 animals, many of them ferocious..."

With that many running around that got forced law enforcement to kill all the animals by setting them loose.

"Hanna and his vets visited the farm today, calling conditions deplorable. He plans to take all five living animals to the Columbus Zoo."
Five animals survived?  *Bob notes that laziness paid off for them if they didn't bother to leave their cages.*

Just noticing on the members list that it's not 'a thousand members joined each day' anymore.  Although I'm surprised that nearly everyone who's joining lately is a Gold member.  Nils must be raking the money if people keep paying each month.

It's worth every penny. At one moment I'm listening to some classical radio and hear a piece I'd like to try. As soon as I get to my computer I can have a copy to try. Or just put the computer on the piano and play from the screen.

Priceless!

Oh well so now we really do have winter! Today it was snowing! There were these huge gigantic snowflakes falling  :o I don't think I ever saw snow in October in my life!! Last year I thought it started really early cause we had first snow in November!
So we had a really long summer then we had a little less than 2 weeks of autumn and now it's winter!!! Oh well I don't mind anymore I'm just worried about the animals because I'm not sure if they had time to prepare for winter  :-\ I hope they did!!
