I do. Most of my friends are Palestinian, and there are some really nice lounges downtown where I live.

And thanks.

I intended that young lady who is the picture for a Guitar Road coupon looks a bit like my piano instructor. Well my instructor would wear eyeglasses and has deeper locks but I think it's because of the way you grin and maybe a hairstyle.

Did you ever notice how technology from decades ago is big and clunky... Older/mature?  But now it's smaller, i.e. younger, and there are a lot more of them?  I know what's going on.  *Bob decides not to let his phone "tether" anything.*

Do you notice how quickly they are bringing the wheels up? I often wonder how close they are to the load limit on that old 74...

I heard something about it being at ?04,000 pounds and the limit is ?10,000, so they're close.

Maybe it was 104,000 or 704,000 pounds.

Remember the old rule: when force equals drag and lift equals weight you are flying. So when ever I see wheels being pulled up, to reduce drag, this early I know they close to the limit. Generally the wheels give as much drag and the rest of the plane.

on my mind are my piano exam pieces, cause I have a feeling I would need more time than I have to learn them really well!  :-\

then also home reading because I waited too long and now I'm supposed to read three books till June and I don't think I can do that because I can't read for a very long time because I get nervous (i mean not if I'm really interested in what I'm reading, but if I have to read something, especially in a short time!)  ::)

And also for a few days computers have been on my mind... I'm thinking about making a computer thread!  :P

And of course our crazy neighbour is on our minds every day cause she makes sure of that every day... and night!  ::)  ::)

also:

even though it's changed VERY A LOT and it doesn't make sense I still recognize that it came from my post!!!  ::) I don't know why you people are using exactly my posts but I'm glad you like them so much I guess  :-\

It's funny..and terrible at the same time.
In this very moment I noticed that my hands are callused like an old farmer because of my gym training, and even if I always wear gloves. Not very nice in a lady, the more so in a would be pianist lady....What should I do?  ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Well, there was the old riddle: "What must you do to have soft hands?"  Answer:  Nothing.  (If Chopin had written an etude specially for callused hands, I wonder what it would sound like?  In another section, m1469 was discussing whether music could sound "honest";  maybe an etude for callused hands would be an example of such.)

These days you might not find a farmer with callused hands. When they not sitting in an air conditioned tractor with power steering pushing joy sticks for the implements, they are sitting behind a computer pushing a mouse.

Remember if it wasn't for you and my wife those companies that make lotions and potions would go out of business! In the past Italy was home to some great products for just that purpose.

I'm afraid I play Chopin Etude as they were purposefully written for callused hands  :'( :'( :'( :'(....
I don't have a vigorous touch, just a callused touch....
::) ::) ::) Oxy, I'll follow your suggestion buying some lotion that will makemy hands soft and smooth..but I'm not sure my Chopin will sound better :( :( :(

Just a thought: do you practice before or after your workouts? I find that I play better when I'm rested. Sometimes when the day is very busy (and physical) I don't get to the keyboard until late afternoon, when my crew goes home. I shouldn't even sit down because I start to make mistakes. I don't want those mistakes to be "learned." It is a bit of a quandary whether to skip the session.

I'm laughing at a child actor.  The kid says, "So and so is a phenomenal director."  "It's the experience of a lifetime."  The kid's about ten years old.  What does he know?  Lifetime?  That's about a decade.  Haha... I guess it's all downhill from there for him then.

It is so gross to me that I have to repeat the fact that it is seriously so gross to me and turns my stomach and makes me want to throw up.  Even more than that loner biggy, there's something about all of those things just hanging around, making that shape together, and they are all whispy and stuff ... ICK ... *nauseous* ... it's extra gross that they are all hanging out together like that and making a shape.  What the?

No, it's the magnificence of the Universe itself resembling itself in such a complex and intricate design; the beauty, elegance, and enigma of the workings of the workings of a brain - the power and grandiosity of socialism and cooperation - the virtue of team work, trust, and respect - bringing itself to a wondrous climactic position in the place of these humble, beautiful creatures. Not even human societies can compare.

At the same time, nothing beats my pic for being personally the most disgusting and gross, goose-bump enhancing image I have ever seen in my life.

That, and those aren't spiders. Cellars don't combine like that and they'd rather cannibalize in such a situation - those are Harvestmen, the most unusually frightening specimens on the Planet. That we Homo Sapiens have minds that tell us to avoid these incomparably little animals is puzzling, considering the fact that they're hardly poisonous.  :)

A great hoax for Pianostreet....  Assuming the site exists decades from now....

Wouldn't it be strange if one user stayed around for a long, long time?  Longer than a lifetime?  You could have a few real people pass along a profile and make it appear that one member was active that whole time.

If Lisitsa is practicing, m1469 is practicing.  If Lisitsa is texting, m1469 is practicing (except for right now ... Lisitsa is practicing and m1469 is eating dinner and posting on the forum).

You'd be better off getting an investment loan, which is basically the same thing but at a lower rate than an overdraft, so more likely to succeed.

Of course, transactions like that are why the world's economy is in the state it is.
