i miss this blog (not to make fun of fat people but to 'gawk' at these crimes against food). i don't quite recall why it got 'shut down' i think it had something to do with fat people really throwing a big fat fit.

At least the archives are up, what's left of them at least.

Also why?  Not a just a geiger counter... A geiger counter for kids.  Let them learn to do their own radiation testing.

Hmmm... I'm thinking about my project at school about "Music in the 19th and 20th Century".
I'm reading a book related to the subject and taking some notes...

Twice now. Energy dips way low in the evening.  Way, way low.  I'm getting old.

Never! As long as you feed the inner child you will never be old.

Old is when you qualify without questions for preboarding...

Don't worry about the evening. It's when you can't get out of bed in the morning...

A friend's bird could whistle real tunes that it learned from its owner. However it could never whistle twice exactly the same. There were always variations in note length.

Yes my bird is singing melodies too, but I can never really recognize them... so I'm not sure if he's making them up or if he's trying to sing something that I'm playing on piano or something, but can't exactly get them right... or maybe he's just improvising.  :)  :P  8)

Basically, at school, we've just started our project and we are planning each student (or small group of students) to focus on a specific period or composer. Our teachers have already introduced the subject and given us some general information in order to understand it.  :)

Agreed! Have you ever been there or do you live in the area?

I always enjoyed visiting there privately between public tours (with the loud guides), especially those gardens!

Your home country is where we want to go, get a hotel in the old city and hang out. Do you know of any music clubs or jams there? Just last night we were hanging with a Cubano. Didn't play but just checked out the jam. Impressive layered rhythms. Place was SRO. Now I need to dust off my cow bell for the clave.

Is there a "little game?"  Everyone's talking about the big game.  Are they all big?  Doesn't that imply some of them are little games?
