Keep in mind the floor where the rice was spilled was just cleaned... a couple weeks ago, so it's pretty clean, cleaner than normal. It doesn't have any grit on it, or shouldn't.
How long until you find some dried up rice you didn't find during clean up?
What are those bits in your teeth now? Rice doesn't have bits like that. Should rice taste like floor wax?
