Maybe you didn't read everything that culminated to that point, but it was PP who brought up home ownership.

I read it, but the claim perfect_pitch was making, admirable though it was, was entirely unremarkable. The claims you have been making are not ordinary claims, they are extraordinary and as the saying goes "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

How is it a strawman it is precisely related to the discussion,…

Straw men are not points unrelated to a discussion, they are weakened versions of an argument that are easy to disprove. In your case, you were painting a caricature of most concert artists so clueless and naive as to simply expect people to turn up to their shows without making any effort to promote themselves - or to hire a professional whose job and expertise it is to do such things. That is the straw man.

…hiring a manager without understanding the business side yourself usually leads nowhere. This is where your comment reflects more of an outsider’s speculation than experience within the field. Any aspiring concert artist who just hires a manager will have practically no success, that is why you don't see waves of university graduates who play excellent making a concert living. That is why as you already said, there are concert pianists who cannot live off their concerting earnings. If you are interested you can see how self promotion can be done highly effectively and any concert musician would be wise to understand it rather than just hiring management to deal with it. I honestly don't think you are interested in this business however so I don't think it's necessary to go into super detail about it even though I have given some insights already.

What do you think it is that managers do? And how is it that you, someone who has supposedly divided his time between half a dozen different careers, have managed to unlock the secret that for some reason has eluded people who's actual profession it is to promote artists and their events, many of whom have been doing so successfully for decades and will certainly have all the connections you have and more? Again, this is just another extraordinary claim on your part.
I'm not saying that marketing doesn't make a difference. I'm sure it does. But your claim of raking in tens of thousands of dollars per concert, doing 20+ concerts a year for 4 years, which would put you in the top tier of earners among global concert artists, on the strength of your marketing alone, and yet somehow, inexplicably, not leaving a trace of evidence behind, is incredibly hard to swallow.

You’ve moved the goalposts. First you doubted my initial concert selling 1000 tickets. I explained how it happened and you dismissed it casually. Now you want 20 more examples? I’m not going to list every connection or strategy I used. I’ve shared plenty already. If that’s not enough for you, nothing will be.

I haven't moved the goalpost. I was granting you that one improbability for the sake of making a broader argument. Have you forgotten my comment about you being a Marvel character. Taking what you have claimed at face value, it would seem like everything you touch turns to gold. This just doesn't happen in the real world and is why people are questioning it. The 1000 seat sold out first ever solo concert at 17 was just an easy target to focus on.

I'm still skeptical about that first concert by the way - that the truth is precisely how you are depicting it. It would be very easy for me and completely true to say that I actually premiered one of Peter Sculthorpe's last major works. If I left it at that you would get a certain impression that would be very different to the one you would get if I explained that it was the Sydney premier, not the World premier, and it was an orchestral work, and I was in the choir, not because I can sing but because it was a requirement for all instrumental students at my university to join the choir. Suddenly the picture looks very different doesn't it? Well, you've already revealed that a large portion of the audience in that concert was actually students from your school and local community members. This is very different to selling out a 1000 seat venue to people who don't know you personally and does make the claim it somewhat more believable but omitting these details, especially in the context of all your other extraordinary claims, is disingenuous if you ask me.

This quote from you was about me elaborating on the importance of networking and connection which has totally gone over your head based on your response to it. This shows you don't understand or severely underestimate the power of networking and knowing the right connections.

No, I got the point. Maybe you missed my point.

The fact that my app has generated multi million dollars and was given such prominent attention is not credibility? Do you realize how hard it is to make an app successful in business? I think you'd benefit from reading up on that.

Nobody is questioning the success of your app because the evidence is there. There is no need to question it, but the fact that you have a successful app today does not therefore mean the you were once a top earning, globally successful concert pianist who just happened never to make any recordings, did no interviews, never performed with any other prominent name in the industry, has no competition history, and has left no trace of their former career behind. Please, if these things are available then show me and I'll happily eat my words and rescind everything I've said. I'll bury my head in shame and never show my face here again.

You want to try and debate me, well you are not doing a good job, I'm giving more information which you can use to weigh but you merely dismiss which isn't an argument at all. Why have you talked past my apps prominent success on the Meta store? This is rarer than any concert pianist or house earning. You literally have talked past it completely because it's a pretty powerful bit of actual evidence. I wonder why you are purposefully doing that?

I don't want to debate you. It's tedious and frustrating but for some reason I just can't let this go.
And again. nobody is questioning your app success because the evidence is there for all to see, unlike your extraordinary concert career.

Like I said its not impossible its improbable, and you have no evidence to know its not true. I however have shown evidence of my achievements which are in line with rarity and scarcity, you don't seem to want to see that and that comes with extreme bias on your behalf. Do you just want to believe it's all a lie? That's up to you of course! But it doesn't stand up to the evidence I have presented.

You haven't presented any evidence though. No more than me explaining how the Fosbury flop should be performed makes me an Olympic high jumper. As for my evidence, the claim I am making is that I am skeptical that you are being completely honest. I am not making a factual claim, I am stating my subjective position and challenging you to change my mind. And if you think I need to provide evidence that your career is not what you claim then I am sorry to say that that is not how this works. If I claim that there are fairies in my backyard, it's not incumbent upon you to prove that there aren't. I am making the extraordinary claim therefore it's incumbent upon me to provide the evidence if I want you to believe me. And it really does seem like you want me to believe you because you keep replying, adding more "evidence" to your story. If you really don't care then just don't reply.

So then your previous comment about being interested was just hoping you could pick up on something easy to prove it's all a lie? Unfortunate for you you wont be able to do that because I'm speaking from an experience I have lived.

No, at that time I was suspicious but prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt which is why I asked more questions. But the story just became more and more unbelievable and so here we are.

I've insulted no one outside of the realms of debate, … You might call it insults because you just read one sentence and don't see where the debate began and followed through.

Is that so? Well let's see about that. Here is a post from a first time PianoStreet user. Keep in mind that this is the first time this person has ever posted on Piano street;

Hi guys,

As I was studying Chopin`s Etudes op. 25, his ballades, and  rach 3, besides other works, an idea came to me: what gains should I obtain had I dropped everything I was focusing on to solely study Rach3? The concerto is my favorite one, besides Chopin's in F minor. It present all colors , rhythms and technique disposition. So I know I would not grow bored at all.   What do you guys think? Do you think that if I do this whenever I go  back to other pieces they will be understood more easily for the brain and fingers?

And here is your immediate reply. Nobody else had posted anything yet;

Your idea is rather dumb. You want to throw away all other pieces just to study one which actually requires accompaniment? I also don't understand why you want to share such an idea with random people. Are you showing off what pieces you can play or making up stories for fun? You do realize Rach 3 is not Rach's most difficult piece?

I think this speaks for itself.

I read it, but the claim perfect_pitch was making, admirable though it was, was entirely unremarkable. The claims you have been making are not ordinary claims, they are extraordinary and as the saying goes "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."
You said I was the one that brought up home ownership, I have proven that it was not me. Now you again shift the goalpost and say its because it was remarkable. I wouldn't have said it if it wasnt brough up in the first place. You can do all this goal post shifting you like, it doesn't help your position.

Stop being ridiculous you said this
"To be honest with you, it’s not the money or the success that I find so incredible, I know multimillionaires too, it’s comments like this; Sold out practically every concert I did. … I can still sell out any concert I want to do."

To which I explained

"I don't expect you to understand the business of selling concerts. Most people think its just hire a venue, post some advertising and it magically fills the seats, or rely on fame to sell the seats."

To which you irrationally called a strawman.

I explained the way in which concerts can be sold with knowhow, since you don't have the understanding of it I brought it up. And since you also thought just get a manager is the way to solve it

" I know if I wanted to be a concert artist the first thing I’d do is get a manager."

This shows you don't really have a deep understanding of how concerts can be sold, thus why you find it all incredible. No strawman, it is clearly explaining why you find something incredible.

I explained how I did it with my very first concert, you merely dismissed it. Also I had great connections through my famous teacher which many pianists don't have access to, I also made a lot myself, it is a personality and business trait that you need and unfortunately not many pianists have that, they just play the keys well. And managers can't magically sell seats for you nor would have the motivation to do it as dedicated as I was. They can work with fame and popular pianists sure, but self made ones, unless you have a super amazing manager who personally wants you to succeed they just won't work with that.

Don't swallow it then, I have already explained thoroughly in my last posts all about it, if you can't be bothered to read what I wrote about it you won't read it if I write it again. Show me evidence where is said 20+ concerts every year for 4 years, go ahead, you can't, in fact I clarified to another user exactly the rate. Learn to read more rather than selectively.

I haven't moved the goalpost. I was granting you that one improbability for the sake of making a broader argument.
No you said it was very difficult to appreciate that at 17 I sold a 1000+ seat concert. I showed how I did it and you dismissed and then asked well how can we believe the other 20 now? That is the definition of goal post moving. I helped to clear up your disbelief on one issue, now you want to have it done for more. Sorry that's not how it works.

And I showed how it was possible, do you want me now to scan all my documents to prove it? Get over yourself lol. I have proven the concept by explaining in some detail how it was done, none of which you contended with, you merely then moved onto asking me to prove more and more. Sorry that is a terrible attempt at debate, do you want me to prove every single instance of everything I've done? What is the point in that? Is it even worth the effort to do that? Why dont you show me the money you got from your inheritance? Please show all the documentation so I can believe it or you're lying. Yeah good huh? See thats very easy to do lol.

I'm still skeptical about that first concert by the way - that the truth is precisely how you are depicting it. .....Well, you've already revealed that a large portion of the audience in that concert was actually students from your school and local community members. This is very different to selling out a 1000 seat venue to people who don't know you personally and does make the claim it somewhat more believable but omitting these details, especially in the context of all your other extraordinary claims, is disingenuous if you ask me.
Now you are shifting your way of weighing evidence. Oh selling a concert at 17 with 1000 seats is improbable... Oh it was from your school, well heres the problem with that. Lol. You see you will find a problem with all reasoning I provide you, it is why it is futile to even bother about explaining all the other concerts I did, explaining the contacts I have and how my networking helped me generate highly effective focus advertising rather than the weaker scattergun approach. I hit the same concert venues often and it was easier and easier to sell the venues because previous audience members would return and bring others along, I think you are quite oblivious to the marketing and management of concerting and the effective strategy of returning to a venue periodically to ride the wave of previous success. The fact my first concert was so successful, the following years doing it again in the same venue was much easier, that is an undeniable marketing logic, perhaps you need to educate yourself on that one rather than just think in your own head?

No, I got the point. Maybe you missed my point.
Zero point was missed because you quoted my text about connections and networking and didn't even contend with it. There was no point in what you said that had any relevance to what you quoted. It showed you have no understanding of networking since you quoted a passage of mine which was describing that and then went about saying nothing about it at all. Networking is a huge part of business, its quite a basic understanding.

It proves that I am a high achiever of extremely rare standards. You are merely dismissing the ultra rarity of making apps best sellers. You totally ignored the entire evidence that I work at an elite level. Do you think I get to that position by faking my way through it all? No its built up by a lifetime of working at a high level. It should at least make you believe that if something much much more improbable like making an app successful and having multi million dollars invested and earned from it is true, then maybe more meagre things also are not so out of the realms of being fantasy.

I bring up this recent success in my career because its easy to show the evidence, why would I want to show evidence of my success from the early internet years where things where not documented online as much if at all? It is absolutely not worth my effort to do such things in something that is just a discussion on a random piano post. Your logic is really terrible on this one.

I don't want to debate you. It's tedious and frustrating but for some reason I just can't let this go.
And again. nobody is questioning your app success because the evidence is there for all to see, unlike your extraordinary concert career.
What can you deduce from this though? I have sold an app that makes millions and have had exclusive media done on it which is an extreme rarity. Meta has created huge amount of promotion for my app. All this points to an extreme elite achievement. Are you saying this holds no weight that perhaps my other achievements in life might be of rare order too? That is a highly bias attitude from someone who will never be convinced but just wants to be entrenched in their own cynicism.

You haven't presented any evidence though.
Your are just being terribly illogical. I have proven with evidence that my achievements in the musical work is beyond normal. Do you know in court people are put away for life with circumstantial evidence? There can be a pattern that shows someone did something without even a smoking gun. You however want just the smoking gun, thank god you are not a judge. There is plenty of evidence to show I am not a normal achiever when it comes to the piano music world.

I am not making a factual claim, I am stating my subjective position and challenging you to change my mind.
And here is your deep illogical stance. No ones mind is ever changed on an internet message board when two ideologies clash. It doesn't happen. So you are being ridiculous to even ask for such things. Change your mind lol get over yourself. You are not the grand inquisitor or king of the world who requires to be satisfied lol.

And if you think I need to provide evidence that your career is not what you claim then I am sorry to say that that is not how this works.
You don't have to provide any evidence at all, its just a fact you cannot prove anything otherwise. I have however shown you and proven that I achieve success in elite levels of musical achievement. All of which you casually wave aside. That just proves your great bias, and your total unwillingness to have your mind changed. I am not even attempting to change your mind, just show how weak your position is, filled with biases and inability to deal with clear facts when given to you.

And it really does seem like you want me to believe you because you keep replying, adding more "evidence" to your story. If you really don't care then just don't reply.
Ill reply forever and never stop much to your distaste im sure. I can go on forever if you like, lets go. I have provided ample evidence of my unusual success in music to which you have no ability to contend with it, your technique is just to wave it away and try to push your own bias agenda. Unfortunately for you in debate, those with bias just outright lose. You have no ability to weigh my success with META and that is a critical flaw in your position, you can't sidestep it, it makes your position even weaker. I am interested to see how you manage to deal with it because so far you have done zero. Gosh Lost sells multi million dollar apps on meta who invested tens of millions into promoting his app.... nah its impossible he owns a house, or did multiple successful concerts all which are more likely than making a top selling piano app. See how your logic utterly falls apart? I do and the silent readers do too.

No, at that time I was suspicious but prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt which is why I asked more questions. But the story just became more and more unbelievable and so here we are.
Your fake fence sitting is tiresome. I know exactly our history on pianostreet, just have a look at the fingering challenge thread, how you cried at me even there. No sorry, you come to this argument full of bias and you are NOT a neutral questioner.
https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=68656

In that thread you said a fingering solution of mine was terrible to which I gave evidence that someone on reddit who asked the question thought my solution was genius. Lets see how did you deal with that evidence? Oh yeah you just ignored it and talked past it lol. You are too obvious in your bias approach.

Is that so? Well let's see about that. Here is a post from a first time PianoStreet user. Keep in mind that this is the first time this person has ever posted on Piano street;

And here is your immediate reply. Nobody else had posted anything yet;

I think this speaks for itself.
Lol yes thank you this speaks a volume about how bias you are, excellent lets break it down.

You do realize we had a wave of spam posting on the website because of that?
You did admit that you thought it could be a spammer but here you pretend its a real person to try and prove im mean lol you're hilarious:
https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=68489.msg715330#msg715330

And I explained myself throughout that entire thread why the IDEA is dumb not the PERSON, can you understand that? You probably cant even though I even clarified that in the thread you are still obstinate here, no one can change your mind even if the truth is shown clear as day, though you seem to think that we have to do it for you lol. It is being provocative to show that the IDEA was not a very good choice, when you cried about it trying to frame it as PERSONAL I further elaborated the reason why it was an IDEA that was bad. You however in your bias mindset just snippet a small part to make yourself look good, too bad the whole context makes that utterly fall apart:
https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=68489.

How about contend with all these posts I created in the teaching thread? I have countless posts which are helpful and aim to educate. But instead your bias reading has to focus on squabbles you have with me lol.  You do realize being active on a forum for 20 years and engaging with all sorts of strange ideas will have arguments occur? Do you logically understand that? Probably not lol. Just look at your own attitude towards me in the fingering thread, you immediately post memes to try and ridicule, something I havnet done in any serious discussion. Such hypocrisy lol. Oh but you try to backtrack saying your joking right lol, its a thin veil of defence you tend to use, just like you try to pretend you're a neutral fence sitter in this debate but your bias views are just too obvious lol.
https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=68656.msg717003#msg717003

This is just on the teaching thread, i have plenty more elsewhere, I have also thousands of comments which aim to help and educate. Plenty of evidence to sift through, but your bias reading only reads what it wants to, so shallow :P So what have you done to benefit countless peoples questions on here? My contribution overshadows you by a monumental amount, but you go ahead and call me a troll and mean bad person lol.

Why do you keep going on about the app? Nobody is questioning you have a successful app. I understand that you are proud of it and so you should be but we aren't talking about the app. If you had said, "I bought my house with the earnings from an app I developed", I never would have questioned you. Go back and read the exchange and see how it unfolded.
What we are talking about, however, your claim to have been such a successful concert pianist that you achieved what only the top tier of pianists in the world ever achieve and you did that somehow without leaving any trace behind.

Because a top selling app is much rarer and many times more difficult than anything else i said before it. Use that as circumstantial evidence of my ability to work at the highest levels.

No amount of evidence about my previous concerting will be enough for you, I could scan the multiple newspaper articles about it all if I wanted to, but your attitude and bias nature would again just find something wrong with it. Your world view is successful concert artists are famous, have managers who deal with everything sales related, play with orchestras etc. It's short sighted and severly underestimates excellent focused advertising through a powerful self promotion team with excellent networking contacts. You see, you have trapped yourself in this entire discussion and I have fully laid bare your attitude and approach.

What about how I've proven you're totally wrong about me being mean to people? And how you try to frame it to suit your own agenda? It proves your bias and insincere attitude, even here asking me to prove my previous past success. So I think I've thoroughly crushed you in the debate. I notice how you again side step all the evidence presented to you, all the forum post threads which shows how terrible you actually are yourself at understanding reality.

Stephen Hawking worked at the highest level but something tells me he wouldn't have made a very good pianist.

What about how I've proven you're totally wrong about me being mean to people?

You didn't prove anything. All you did was point out how I entertained the possibility that that person was a spammer. But in the end, he wasn't a spammer and only one of us was being a prick to him and you did that on your first post! At least I gave him the benefit of the doubt. And if you really thought he was a spammer, why even reply? Why not simply report and ignore it?

No amount of evidence about my previous concerting will be enough for you, I could scan the multiple newspaper articles about it all if I wanted to…

Yes, exactly, thank you. Finally, some actual, verifiable evidence. If you can present even a single newspaper article that backs up your claim of performing and earning to the degree that you say you did, then I will be true to my word. I will take back everything I said, leave Piano Street and never return. You don't even have to trust my judgment. We can let the other forum members decide whether or not the evidence you present meets the burden of proof. We can put it to a vote, majority wins, no new members, and no complaining about the result. If the other forum member are satisfied with your evidence, I will do exactly as promised.

Except that example has no correlation to one another. My example strongly correlates with one another. Again this highlights your illogical mind. I have 20 years of talking about performing on here too, am I faking for 20 years? Lol ok.

You didn't prove anything. All you did was point out how I entertained the possibility that that person was a spammer. But in the end, he wasn't a spammer and only one of us was being a prick to him and you did that on your first post!
Again you are ignoring that I was talking about the IDEA not the PERSON. And the entire thread highlighted that. You are however selectively reading which confirms your bias. You thought you could show I was being outright mean to someone,  instead it hilariously confirms your bias mind and irrational way of dealing with information.

At least I gave him the benefit of the doubt. And if you really thought he was a spammer, why even reply? Why not simply report and ignore it
Why does my actions have to follow what you do? I've had much more success not behaving like you by the looks of it. I've provided far more helpful advice on pianostreet that you ever have too.

Yes, exactly, thank you. Finally, some actual, verifiable evidence. If you can present even a single newspaper article that backs up your claim of performing and earning to the degree that you say you did, then I will be true to my word.
Lol so you want me to post newspaper articles of every single concert ive ever done articles to prove it? You're a funny man. You do realise they don't state money you earn? So you'd also want me to post historical bank statements to back it up as well as private details of concert halls paying me? Are you insane lol. Your sceptical mind would just say they are fakes even if I scan them.

I will take back everything I said, leave Piano Street and never return. You don't even have to trust my judgment. We can let the other forum members decide whether or not the evidence you present meets the burden of proof.
Why would I want you to leave? This mental gymnastics is fun. You still do not contend with the fact that I have achievements even greater than anything about my concerting lol. You don't even know how to deal with it. How about you post proof of your inheritance please, bank statements proving you received it, or I just won't believe you, wait a minute..... hey you might photoshop it.... what..... omg its possible to prove irrefutably... wow imagine that.... no but change my mind please lol. Sorry I'm not posting my historical bank statements and cheques paid to me by various concert halls because you easily could just say, oh that's photoshopped fakes, in fact your cynical mind demands that resultant. Your really a special one. Deal with the evidence I have given, if that's not enough for you, I'm sorry you don't have to ability to make judgements without smoking guns.

We can put it to a vote, majority wins, no new members, and no complaining about the result. If the other forum member are satisfied with your evidence, I will do exactly as promised.
Why are you so melodramatic. You've had caustic interactions with me over the years so it's no doubt that won't end even if you are proven wrong. The problem is I will show you what I want to show. If you where an honest person with actual real reasons to know about my history I'd gladly share it. You just don't fit the bill for me to go through the troubles of scanning documents to share with you, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to change your mind over anything at all. I have a very high level of intelligence to know exactly what you'd do with any article I share with you. I prefer to share what I want, it's already proven you have zero ability to contend with evidence I've already given. So please send the details of your inherited money and the evidence you pay no rent or I'm just going to think it's a tall tale. I'm certainly not sharing my historical bank statements, it's meaningless anyway, they all can be easily faked, same with even making newspaper articles. So what evidence is there that is irrefutable? I've given it by showing you my current success which is thoroughly documented and powerfully overshadows any of my past achievements which you doubt.

Except that example has no correlation to one another. My example strongly correlates with one another. Again this highlights your illogical mind.

You helped develop a piano teaching app. I'm not sure how that makes you one of the world's top performing concert artists. By that logic the people who made Simply Piano must be leaving Lang Lang and Yuja Wang in their dust.

Again you are ignoring that I was talking about the IDEA not the PERSON.

I see, so you were accusing the IDEA of showing off and making up stories? I stand corrected.

Lol so you want me to post newspaper articles of every single concert ive ever done articles to prove it?

No, just one.

Why would I want you to leave? You still do not contend with the fact that I have achievements even greater than anything about my concerting lol.

Again, I don't doubt that you have a very successful app so there is no need to contend with it. I'll even go one better and congratulate you on your app success. It's a rare achievement and you should be proud. Congratulations.

lol sorry I'm not posting my historical bank statements and cheques paid to me by various concert halls. You easily could just say, oh that's photoshopped fakes. You're really a special one, in the head. Lol deal woth the evidence I have given, if that's not enough for you, I'm sorry you don't have to ability to make judgements without smoking guns.

I don't want bank statements. Just a single newspaper article or some bit of promotional material, concert dates and venues, whatever you want. And don't forget that I'm not the one who will be making the call. It doesn't matter if you convince me or not. It only matters if you convince other members. I won't dispute the results and I'll do everything I promised. How can you lose?

My role is deeper than just "helping" develop the app. If you knew any of the team of simply piano which I do personally know, you'd know that there are ones with concert experience. There's no proof that there must be a segregation between the two. I am also an expert in traditional piano pedagogy as well as modern pedagogy especially related to self learning. That is a great oddity in the piano education system where usually people stay within a little niche, I have a broad perspective in many territories of education. I've worn plenty of hats as a professional musician, concert pianist selling plenty of concerts in a relatively small amount of time being one of them. I've also invested my money wisely throughout my whole life. No I don't drive an expensive car and waste my money, that's why I have it.

I see, so you were accusing the IDEA of showing off and making up stories? I stand corrected.
So where is your evidence that I am a troll and mean to people then? I asked a QUESTION to them not a STATEMENT declaring that is what I thought of them. There again is a difference. I put down the IDEA not the person, I asked a QUESTION didn't make a STATEMENT about the showing off stories etc. All of this I explained in the previous thread yet it seems you still don't understand that, nor will you this time round too.

No, just one.
But what is the point? They can be easily faked, none of them either say anything about money earned.

Again, I don't doubt that you have a very successful app so there is no need to contend with it. I'll even go one better and congratulate you on your app success. It's a rare achievement and you should be proud. Congratulations.
But this is meaningless since it has nothing to do with why I brought it up. It is to show that I do indeed have rare achievements, do you contend that it is even rarer than being a successful concert pianist or outright own homes at an earlier age?

I don't want bank statements. Just a single newspaper article or some bit of promotional material, concert dates and venues, whatever you want. And don't forget that I'm not the one who will be making the call. It doesn't matter if you convince me or not. It only matters if you convince other members. I won't dispute the results and I'll do everything I promised. How can you lose?
Because they all can be easily photoshopped or faked using AI. The very evidence itself does not stand up to todays tools of fake news. Why are you not accepting that route given your deep cynical mind? I also will not share something that is personal and close to me with someone as caustic as yourself, and who shows great bias towards me. You are not an ally you are an opponent in an online argument. You don't want to be convinced.

So instead I have provided evidence of something much more improbable than any of the success of my past. I have shown you a advertising campaign from META which cost 10s of millions of dollars to do that featured my app as its central story. The rarity of such things to happen is astronomical, but I've proven it happened. This means a lot more than any newspaper article or bank statement I could provide which very very very easily could be faked.

What the hell is this pissing contest about?

Or talk about the musical stylings of one Wesley Willis.

Yeah, well, Wesley Willis had chronic schizophrenia and was a great admirer of Richard Speck.

Whereas you probably think Liszt was a great pianist, despite contemporary evidence to the contrary.

Well Liszt owes me 3 pfennigs for that horse and cart ride back in the 1880, so I pushed him down some stairs.

That's fine and totally understandable. Don't share anything personal online that you don't want to. I shouldn't have asked that of you and I apologise. My point is that all the "evidence" you have presented isn't evidence of the one thing that I am disputing. It's a rare achievement to win an Olympic gold medal. If I win one in the 100m that is not evidence that I also won one in the long jump. If you truely don't care whether or not anyone believes you then let's just put the topic to rest. It's gotten way out of hand already. However, if you insist on trying to convince people that your concert career was precisely as you claim it was then I'm sorry but you're going to need something more substantial than mere assertions and irrelevant anecdotes. I don't care either way but you have to accept that I and others here are just not convinced. And if your story is true then so what if we aren't? Like I said before, the jokes on us, right?

No.

The joke is on noted American philanthropist Charles Whitman, famed for his experiments upon towers.  A modern day Galileo.

Your current response again continues the pattern of simply ignoring circumstantial evidence, evidence that is used in courts all over the world. The circumstance that I have an elite achievement should weight quite a bit that it's highly possible I have high achievements elsewhere. It's not just a flash of lucky genius. You are equating swimming with long jump which is irrational, my ultra rare achievement which i gave ample hard evidence for is all piano centric, you irrationally and with enormous bias equate that to zero. Again it's an illogical conclusion by you, just like you said hawking genius doesn't mean he's good at piano, they are disjoint.

Evidence like photos and newspaper articles will not prove anything from a quarter of a century ago, they can be all faked these days so the evidence you ask doesn't even satisfy your own cynical mind. If I post them you can just say it's fake and move the goal post again saying it doesnt prove the exact seats sold or money earned. So you're being again highly irrational. I have given hard evidence of achievements even greater than successful concerting and directly related to piano achievement. If you refuse to see that as powerful circumstantial evidence then this just highlights your inability to weigh evidence and purposeful entrenched biases which critically damages your position.

Well, whatever you think about me, you can't say I'm not a man of my word. You did what I asked so it's only fair that I keep up my end off the bargain. There's no need to wait for the votes to come in - it wouldn't be fair to drag anyone else into this mess. The article looks pretty genuine to me and although I can't really read it I'll just have to trust that it supports your claims.

I apologise and I take back everything I said. I wish you all the best with your app and any future endeavours.

I don't know you personally so I can't think anything about you, I'm sure you wouldn't be a bad person to be around in person, I assure you I'm not a mean person irl.

, you can't say I'm not a man of my word. You did what I asked so it's only fair that I keep up my end off the bargain.
Well I said you don't have to do anything, like leave the forum forever.

The article looks pretty genuine to me and although I can't really read it I'll just have to trust that it supports your claims.
You could insert it into AI to read. But the first paragraph states it was the most successful concert ever that the venue. The last sentence shows I was studying with Woodward.

I apologise and I take back everything I said. I wish you all the best with your app and any future endeavours.
Honestly I don't take things personally on here, its just a sparring of words. Some might find that strange, but if you take things personally online then I think it's pretty impossible to contribute long term on there. Ive been on the internet for some 30+ years engaging on message boards on all sorts of topics, the more you engage the more arguments you naturally get into, take that personally you'd go mental.

Well, I'll admit - for the second time (the first time being years ago when you first announced the name of Wesley Willis), I clicked play in the hopes that maybe I had underestimated his talent and shrugged it off as mere noise and audible diarrhoea.

And I'm glad I did, because it only cemented the fact...

...that I should trust my initial instincts. That's how someone survives in life - not questioning their instincts.

Huge nerd like you?

You should like everything about cartoon characters, and not have Batman get on your nerves and really be running you amok.

I am batman, but i draw on mirrors. Or was that a bad man? Hmmm

Could be both.

Let's just say I "fixed" the "problem."

How much is your fee? I have some jobs for you.. lol

I do it for free, depending.

Have my own tools.

Need travel expenses and a valid reason, though.

Otherwise, 100K per.

I'm cheap but I don't get caught.

I'm sure we had this argument a long time ago - Batman is a pansy... Superman would clobber the crap out of him. Batman is a man, Superman is a practically indestructible alien with superhuman strength & speed.

And *** LASER EYES!!!

Batman wouldn't stand a chance.

Perhaps.  But Inez seems to be holding a clay pot that she seems very proud of.

Very proud. She should use spray and wipe to clean it, just be careful.

I make two clay pots like that in the toilet every morning.

But Inez seems very proud of her clay pot.

That's pretty hard...

1) We're thousands of miles away from each other so saying that with you in time is very, very hard.

2) Even if we were to try and type and post it together, I doubt it could be done.

Also, Adobe is going downhill (I found this quite interesting to watch).

Looks like the headless corpse of a woman having been drained of all blood.

But, that's just interpretation of art, and in the opinion of a complete neophyte, so cum grano salis.

Ever since the 20th century, art in many forms has gone from the best of the elite to the strangest of the strange; with hoity-toity people claiming that if you don't like it - you don't get it.

Some art is so bleeding pointless that it borders on the comical.

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive. But according to recent research, a robotic exoskeleton hand could help pianists improve their speed of performing difficult pianistic patterns, by overcoming the well-known “ceiling effect”.
