Whew... I was feeling old.  I thought an actor in a movie was either the same age as me or I was older than him.  Not so.  I checked.  I've got a few more years before I can start feeling old like that.

That's interesting (and there's a shortage of long-haired headbanging pianists nowadays), but nothing will ever replace the kazookeylele.

The tweaked version.

(Bob is shocked)   :o My God....There are more kazookeylele videos out there.  More than the last time I saw them.  They've multiplied.  This is getting out of hand.  I think we should outlaw the kazookeylele.  It's an abomination of nature.  It's just not right.

I'm wondering how much money John Williams pulls in each time the Olympics rolls around.  He wrote the main themes.  I would imagine he gets some kind of royalty every time those themes are played.

Kind of interesting.

(Bob creates a wormhole and steps out on the other side of the tesseract... which was a lot more work than simply walking around the tesseract.)

(Bob wonders what type of space he's walking around in, but regardless, he's still closer to the future.)

(Bob looks back at the past... or tries to.  There's a tesseract in the way...  Bob contemplates creating another worm hole but then realizes the tessearct isn't solid.)

I'm wondering if we'll evolve and have more senses in the future.  It seems like as things went along, creatures developed more abilities to perceive what's around them.  i wonder what the next things we would evolve would be.

Well, I am big round and hairy so I think that is a good name. In fact, I think i rather like it.

I do have a small collection of soft toys which includes about half a dozen bears. I still have the bear that was bought for me on my 1st birthday. His name is nostich.

Thal

I like the name Nostich :).  I actually still have my two teddy bears from long, long ago, but they live in a box.  I actually had both of them on my bed, even in University days  :-[, but decided to pack them up finally.  My main squeeze Teddybear's name is Ted ... hee hee.  I know, I know.  Okay, well, I also used to carry in my pocket the silken lining from a blanket, I called it my "corner" because it would start tearing at the very corner of the blanket and then I would pull off an entire edge  ;D.  I would cast it out so it would stretch full length, and then reel it in with one hand into a ball inside of my hand, then cast it out again.  Or, while it was in my pocket during the day, I would reach in there and rub it between my thumb and my fingers ... hee hee.  Okay, I did this even into my twenties, but I finally quit one day !  I had a boyfriend who used to carry a smooth rock inside his pocket as some kind of similar thing, and since he could somehow empathize with my "corner" he fashioned me a corner out of different colored velvet pieces one Christmas.  I still have that.  I have to admit, it was somehow a very thoughtful gift and one of the most favorite gifts I have ever been given, even though I never carried that one around in my pocket !

I'm thinking that, perhaps, what makes some music from some composers "stick around" more or less eternally is related to those pieces' (and the composer's) relationship with some fundamental value or principle involved in music.  For example, Bach's Well Tempered Clavier will be as eternal as the tuning system it represents/is built upon, and our interest within THAT.  I think that these compositions give us some glimpse into a fundamental principle of life even, that without those pieces our view of the world and of ourselves would not be the same, and it's somehow so pervasive a view that it simply can't be erased.  Something like how a rainbow represents light and color in a particular way and somehow fundamentally affects our view of not only light and color, but of life itself and who we are as a species.  A life and world without rainbows and the knowledge of their existence would be a very different place, imo.  And, some musical compositions are something like rainbows (and some are not).

hmmm ...

Tomorrow! My piano recital!  :-\ well i thought I woldn't be so afraid this time because this piece is easier than Rudolph (that I played in december). But... yesterday at my piano lesson I was making a lot of stupid mistakes. Because i was nervous. But i will be even more nervous tomorrow! Yesterday I had to play it like five times before it was ok. But tomorrow i can only play it once! And its really fast and it has a lot of staccatos and when i get nervous my fingers just don't want to work the way they should anymore  :( and I sometimes miss the keys  >:( . Well ... I guess it won't be the end of the world... :)
