Sorry, I am just being cheeky. In England, you can get a bus pass when you are 60.

I feel bad now, so I will bake you a 2 foot diameter cake so i can fit on all of the candles.

I am not 60 years of age myself, but I can tell you (as if you needed telling) that having a "free bus pass" at any age is of little value when there are no buses in one's vicinity.

Anyway, I think that you owe go and apology in any case...

This year is what not what? - and, more importantly, what does the question or the answer (or lack thereof) thereto have to do with free bus passes, their availability and entitlement thereto? Let's stick to the subject matter that you raise - i.e. people's entitlement to passes to travel free on buses when they (the people, that is - not the buses) attain the age of 60; such passes are of no use, as I mentioned, to people who live in areas where there are no buses on which they could otherwise be used. That's all that I was pointing out - and, it should be remembered, any such "passes" might apply only in UK, not in the many other countries represented by this forum's membership...

Sure, killing the hamster is bad, but the circumstance of the whole scenario really creep me out.

So, I've got conjunctivitis at the mo, which is getting better with the aid of some eye drops supplied by my local pharmacist. Part of the label reads:

For some reason, every single thing that I read by Bob is making me laugh ever since yesterday.  Even when I just read his name on the screen, for some reason I actually *really* laugh.  And, it's not that fake kind of laugh, it's the kind where I WANT to laugh, and it's that sort of laugh that can happen in situations you're not supposed to be laughing in.  I don't get it.  I mean, Bob is a funny guy, this we already knew.  And, I personally already laughed a little at Bob (in the best of ways, honestly, Bob), but this is ridiculous.  It's like divine comedy somehow ... like something from some other Universe is making me laugh, and it's coming through Bob, and other people, too.  What's the deal ?  And, NO, I did not smoke anything, okay ?  For some reason things are just seeming really funny to me ... out of nowhere !!

Sorry if I am putting pressure on you, Bob.  You don't have to always be funny.  But, even if you strike out sometime soon, you will have at least had a great run.  haha ... see, I just cracked up again.

Bye bye.

Even business are doing better than "American" in general.  I'm thinking Velveeta here.  But it can be worse than American.  Yes... government cheese.

I can't ever knock Swiss.  Mmm.   Yes, I thought Velveeta was Kraft.  And would you look at that?  Who started Velveeta?  The Swiss.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velveeta

Well...no i still don't have my piano  :( . People will think im just making it up! It's snowing today really a lot! There are really huge snowflakes! And i like that and its sooo cool! But we live in the 4th floor and we dont have an elevator and the stairs are not inside but outside, so if its snowing so much the stairs are all wet and very slippery (and they werent before but a few month ago some people wanted to put something over the stairs, which i dont know how its called, so it would look nicer, but its only for inside stairs so now its very very slippery and someone already injured her leg on the stairs!), so the people that brought the piano said it was too dangerous, for the piano and for people. So my piano was only a few meters away just down the stairs but i still didnt get it!  :'( It was sooo close and sooo far at the same time!!! AND i couldnt get my piano because of the thing that i love sooo much. The snow!  :-\ Am i even meant to get this piano?? Well im waiting again.... maybe on monday?  :-\  :-\  :-\
But it is very very beautiful outside!!! :) And if i waited for so long i can wait two more days i guess (i just hope i wont have to wait all winter!!) And maybe it's better not to get what you want right away anyway because then you're even happier when you do get it :)  :D  :)

Hey, littletune, I know that feeling of "so close and yet so far at the same time".
You are quite anxious to get your piano and in due time it will all work out and your piano will be
inside your apartment.  When I got my piano, it was a large old upright, and it had
to go up to the second floor of the apartment where I used to live as a child.
I remember looking down as the piano movers slowly carried it up stairs....as I
held my breath with anticipation!  I am happy for you and Monday will come , just
keep busy over the weekend so the time will go by more quickly.   :)

Hey littletune, don't be sad, your piano will arrive, I'm sure.
When I got my new grand piano a year ago it almost didn't fit through the staircase. There were 5 (five) movers trying to get the job done. And finally they did it. I don't want to imagine what could have happened and I don't want to imagine what will be if I have to move again... :o
