We're cross gender dressing in English class tomorrow!

I already got my dress and make up set up right!

I hope we get a photo.

A blond wig and a blue dress?  ;D

Since it's an English class will you speak like a girl too?

Well I got attacked verbally and physically.

In the locker room a bunch of guys all tried to jump me.

I the hallways I was called 'fag' and 'gay' a lot.

None of them were girls, and almost all of them were black guys.  I think that's because I'm black.

I have photos, but I don't know if I wanna share them lol.

The girls said that they liked my shoulders and arms. ::). Gotta start wearing t-shirts more often.  8)

I'm wondering if applause is under copyright.  It's not a fixed form until the recording.  It's more like an accidental occurrence.

Point being you could rip off someone's applause if you wanted to.  But could you get sued for that?  Is just the applause under copyright?

No, I mean people will mind their own business better...So you can do whatever you want for your projects! But I guess you found out what it is like to be a cross-dresser! :/

Maybe you'll score a hot composer chick. George Sand cross-dressed, and she got the man of my dreams!  :)

At the drag show in Vegas they put up a magic glass wall to keep the fruits from picking up the people!

What were those guys afraid of? Did you accidentally speak to their inner girl?

How do you find out someone's name when you've known them too long to ask?

Asking them how to spell name doesn't always work.  Bcause if they have an easy name to spell, they'll either think your stupid or catch on to the fact that you don't know their name.

Call them by a different name. They will likely correct you, you will find out their name. You can play it off like...I know, i call everybody craig or nikki...lol

Get someone they don't know to hang out with you. Then ask them to introduce themselves. I used to use my ex to to get names out of people. I'd jump in with "Hey! How have you been?", and let her burst in and introduce herself, and then I'd apologize after for not introducing them. Worked like a charm, never felt like an ass.

Isn't there some joke with a porn name?  First name, pet's name for middle name, childhood street name for last name.  Just ask them what their porn name would be.  Tell them yours, ask theirs.

I constantly have this problem at work...I have sat in meetings with the same people for years, but still can't always remember their names...but I am known for being absent minded occasionally, so I just go like...Oh no, my mind suddenly went totally blank, I can't even remember your first/last name...It kind of becomes a joke on me and (I hope) the person doesn't feel too offended...

The other option is to do some detective work to find out the name on your own.

Sounds like the politically correct rap from a doctor on the other side of the world. Cut down on coffee, cut down on salt they say while while ignoring the real problem, sugar.

Now they want to remove the salt shakers from the Mexico City restaurants! And New York wants to do the same.

If you want to take charge of your health, get a glucose tester and a blood pressure monitor for yourself. Learn to use them and take command.

There's nothing wrong with my blood sugar or pressure. My intestines just can't handle coffee...I really didn't need the doc to tell me that but I have been avoiding the inevitable for quite a while now...

People forget how dangerous it is to work with some of these chemicals. The news is a little thin but I'm guessing it was ammonia which they make into little pellets to be spread on the soil.

There was something mentioned in passing that some firemen were killed because they put water on a blaze and then something exploded. They were the first on the scene.

I wonder if we're going to end up with more surveillance cameras now, and if that's a good thing or not if no one's actively monitoring them.

Are we going to look that unusual 100 years from now?

What things will still be the same?

And the pop music...?

Of course, none of us will be around to find out.

Not likely based on what I assume is your reasoning. I assume you were talking about the quality of treating illnesses which is generally what people think about in regards to longevity. Sorry if it is a bad assumption.

Healthcare advances in regards to treating illnesses will have only a marginal effect on the expected lifespan of humans and almost no effect on max lifespan. There are these things called telomeres which all but dictate your expected longevity exclusive of illness. They are the end sections of your chromosomes that contain dummy genetic code. As your cells replicate, they slowly cut genetic material off the end. So all this dummy code slowly gets cut out as you age. Once it's gone, your chromosomes don't replicate correctly. Basically it's a genetic death clock. So exclusive of genetic reconstruction, any changes will be marginal at best.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base_rate_fallacy

I've always enjoyed this one. It's one of those ones like "how many people do you need in a room to have it more likely than not that two of them share a birthday?*

..."Psychologists Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky"...

I took an entire class in college dedicated to them. In the original forming of the discipline of economics, psychology was a major role within it. Economists wanted to be respected, so the eliminated that aspect to make it more of a 'hard science' (that worked out well). Nowadays it's going back the other way, led by those two.

*the answer is 23.

Good catch! You're right of course because I didn't finsh the point. It is nice that science is finally catching up to the simple truth that my grandfather wrote in 1932; "we are born with the seeds of our own destruction."

In terms of pension funding we should be concerned because it's not the high ages achieved by individuals but the number of people achieving old age.
