Yeah.  Cheap keyboard and you could do finger exercise (yeh! Hanon!) laying down.  (Or lying down?)

What kind of stand would hold a decent-sized cheap keyboard though?

You would build your own stand...or you could mount it to the ceiling :)

Just got an MRI scan of the brain...  :)
is it just me or do MRI machines make really good bass guitars, really steady beats. Either that, or MRI scans sound similar to the beginning of a dub-step songs.

Sometimes, I feel like WAY too much focus here is on the Classical and Romantic eras. I don't see very much conversation on Baroque outside of mentions of Bach here. There's a good wealth of keyboard music from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Gallante eras, but it often goes unnoticed and unmentioned here.

I wonder why?

does pianostreet have an app for the phone? It should have a newsfeed and allow us to view the posts of friends. I would glady have such an app on my phone rather than the pointless drivel i see on my facebook feed.

The effect Santa would have on the economy.  Just giving stuff away?  Do you think any manufacturers are going to stand for that?  They couldn't compete.  Plus, if Santa's giving away name-brand items, how do the manufacturers make money?  You'd think they push for laws to ban Santa.  It would be in their best interest.  They'll make more money.

At one point the "merchants" were so many I could hardly walk. Every time the police would come they would bundle their stuff and try to blend in.

the police are absolutely useless. They stand at the top of sacre couer and do nothing to patrol the area and stop merchants from harassing tourists

honestly, if they were any more intelligent, they'd use undercover cops in plain clothing to look out for any mischief

So you've noticed...

All they seemed to be able to do was drive around during the night with their distinctive sirens and keep me awake.

Yeah.... The bike and wheel they show only has one gear.  Look at how the people are pedaling.  Or trying to.  They're going faster than they can pedal.

[ Invalid YouTube link ]

And it's using coasting brakes, or whatever they're called.

The idea of swapping out a wheel is interesting.  I'd want to keep all my stuff the same though, just swap out a wheel, have everything work, and have something hand-operated to control the extra power.  Those are available, but... I also see posts about all the extra wear-and-tear.  The spokes are going to get a lot of stress.

What happens if you move from one place to another place where space itself is expanded?  Do you stay the same but occupy less space?  Do you grow and stay in proportion to space all the time?  Do you even notice a difference?  And what is space anyway?  How to heck would it actually expand?

I hate men. Men hate me. Today is a day of both chaos and stasis on account of that fact.

I do what I can to make people happy, and women are the only ones that show me gratitude. Men just find something wrong with me, tell me everything is my fault, and tell me I'm not good enough.

On the bright side, I turn 21 in 21 days.

I'll have my last lesson of this year today...4 weeks until the next one  ???

I think I'll use that time on working a couple of pieces to a more polished and properly memorised state. And do some regular sight reading practice...maybe even some theory...or at least learn more scales.

i had my 4th ear surgery on Beethoven's birthday, yesterday! it went good. they messed up my throat, though. I can hardly swallow. my throat hurts more than my ear. They shoved the tube into my throat so far, I had blood in the corners of my mouth when I woke up.

Why is it if I have two SD cards, when I remove the first SD card, the second one isn't recognized?  The computer dings when I insert/remove the second SD card, but it never displays so I can work with the files on it. I have to restart the whole computer.

Writing would be a lot easier if I still was decent at it.

I have two cancelled novellas, a project that has taken over 2 months to complete that I just hit the halfway point on, and I somehow have a much smaller vocabulary than I used to.
