But I've done quite a lot of technical exercise and scales and feel better about the mechanics of my playing.

In a matter of days, I will be 21, a full adult in the eyes of the law. That gets me thinking.

I look back on the twenty years I have lived. Years of happiness and thriving, years of pain and agony, having loved and lost many thing many times. For twenty years, I have experienced the slow crawl of time, my perception of which is altered by a mind that does not stop for even a moment.

Throughout these past ten years alone, I have experienced every emotion of the human scope of feeling, and observed much of the human experience. As life rolls on, I grow stronger and more matured by the experiences that draw me close to the death I have so long yearned for but have always been denied.

And now I wonder what it will be like in the third decade of my life. The first decade was good, and the second was bad, so I can only look forward and hope brighter days are now on the horizon after my longsuffering.

This AST makes me wonder though.  It appeals to my laziness to have the score and video clip right there.  Probably don't have to wade through crap.  But... You miss out on developing the skills to find and evaluate this stuff yourself.  Especially if you went from this to a less common, less findable piece... You might be hurting for research skills.

Scheduling/planning -- It's easy enough to schedule time for a project.  Have a goal, even if it's vague.  I wonder how I can plan for stress and healing.  Moreso the healing/recovery part.  Stressing things is probably pretty easy.  Breaking a schedule because of wearing out doesn't help.  Although... If it's just an open block of time without an end.... That still makes scheduling easy.   ...But it never gives a solid timeline for achieving goals.    Maybe something inbetween.  As always.


Heart rate -- I wonder exactly how much the pulse has to increase to start feeling more alert.  It can't be that much.  And how to have a standard way to increase that heart rate, like jogging in place for x-minutes.  Except it's not always guaranteed... The wearing out idea again.

this green sparkly nail polish still has not chipped, after 3 days! in general, all glitter nail polishes are pretty good! essie glitter coat stays on for weeks! (But you should ever keep nail polish on that long.)  Also, nail polish blocks your nails from being exposed to oxygen and traps moisture. so, it softens nails. i prefer that, though. hard nails make too much noise on the piano!

He graduated and had to support himself.  Haha.  There's some real dread for the future.

I do remember waking up from a nightmare a couple times thinking it was a nice difference.   Didn't like it while I was dreaming.  Conscious and awake I could appreciate it.

Long story short, this scientist was in the woods conducting some research ALONE for a couple days.  He was testing some weird ass anomaly or something. 

Some weird as bullshit started happening, but nothing conclusive.  You see, a normal person would be scared, but he wasn't because he's a scientist.  And it's all...  A part of his research.

And because of the same weird ass bullshit, he was driving his truck, and was forced to go off road and crash it into some trees.  The truck flips sideways and now his truck is like 50 yards into the woods.  He's not injured.

NOW he's scared. 

So he hangs out on the side of the road and calls for his friend to pick him up.  (I don't know why he didn't call the cops).  So his friend drives by, and they put all of his equipment (untouched by the way) in the car. 

And the following diolauge happens. 

Scientist A:  hey bring out some generators it's getting dark

Scientist  B:  alright

*they set up the generators*
*its nighttime*
*they get all the equipment from out the truck*

 B:  alright is that everything?

 A:  yeah...

*theyre both about to get in the car but scientist A checks his pockets for his wallet*

 A:  Damn I left my wallet in the truck

*he's debating whether or not he should go back down there cause some weird as sh*t was going on and he has a bad feeling about this*

 B:  alright go get it

*ah *** it I'll go*

 A:  I'm too scared to go by myself.  Come with me.

 B:  why are you so scared lol?  Jus-

 A:  just come with me okay?

*they go down there*
*he looks in the drivers seat*

A:  it's not ther-  oh there it is!  How the heck did it get over there?!

*its hanging off of some obscure ass tree branch*
*he gets on top of the truck and reaches for it! but he slips and falls down the slope*

 A:  aaaah!!!

 B:  dude are you alright?

 A:  yeah let's go.  **** I should've never went back down here*

 B:  but what about your wallet?

 A:  dude let's go!

B:  what the heck is up with-

*a big as tree branch bends over and grabs A's leg* 

A:  aaaah what the ***?!?! 

*another branch in the shape of a hand the size of his body grabs him and begins to pull him away*

A:  help!!!  Aaaaah!!  *screams*

*b grabs him*

B:  don't worry I got you!

*another branch grabs b's leg*

B:  sh*t!!!  What the ***!?!  Aaaaaah!! *screaming*

*another hand comes out and grabs b*

*both of them are screaming as they're being pulled deeper into the woods*

*Some weird sh*t happens to them aftwewards*

*morning*

*they're both not dead!*

*they're both really skinny, pale, and weak, but still alive*

*B wakes up and he finds out that he's not dead!  But he's entangled in these weird dried up slimy gooey tree branches.  He's also drenched in dried up nasty stuff.  I don't know it is.  But anyways, it takes him a while to break free, but when he does, he completely ignores his friend who's still sleeping and crawls on the road.*

*he sees a car*

 B:  help!!!  Help!!!

*he gets ran over and he dies.  The driver is some weird looking girl, and she lays down besides him looking at the sky*

*shortly after A wakes up, and makes his way towards the road*

He sees the lady and...





I don't know dude!  They talk about something, and the lady reveals that all of these events happened because aliens (she's an alien herself)!!!  Everything was planned from the beginning when he was conducting his research to catch his ass. 

Then she goes on about how she's gonna erase his memory of the recent events so he can continue 'conducting research' and the aliens an catch him and another one of his friends again.  So it's like this big cycle.

While they're talking, the lady begins to change color and shape finally.  Until her arm snaps in half and it turns into a tree branch. 

And thats when I woke up.

Sorry, I didn't do a good job in explaining the dream, but dude it was freaking scary!!! 

It was scary because you could tell something was off, something wasn't right.  And then BAM!!!  The aliens got his ass!  That part really got me!

Today's my 21st birthday. I'm now legally able to drink, and own a pistol. And I'm now entering my third decade of life, a tremendous crossroads for me.

The 20th year of my life is gone. On the horizon is the very first year of my third decade I have been in this world. And all I can think about now is a simple thing: What do the next ten years hold for me?

The first ten years of my life were fantastic, but at the tale end, my misery started. The next ten years were the worst so far, a consant struggle through agony and torture; wounds of a physical, sexual, mental, and emotion nature persist to this day, and not until the end of this year did things finally start to look up: My sin accounted for and my costs paid.

And now I wonder what the next ten years will bring. Will I go back to the wicked ways I once held so tightly to, thrusting me into ten more years of suffering for mistakes I shouldn't be making? Will I cope correctly and get my life back on tracked and end up starting a life, hopefully with someone else? Or will I crumble under the weight of what has happened, plunging myself into depression and alcoholism, slowly pickling my liver until I die? Maybe my life will even plateau, not improving or worsening, in the disastrous circumstance that castration would fail to eliminate my DID.

Whatever is to happen, one thing is clear: I have reached a crossroads in my life where my actions will choose my life trajectory. I'll have to struggle between the past that haunts me and the future which scares me, all whilst trying to figure out my purpose in life.

All my life has been a struggle. I've gone through pain and suffering unspeakable, I've beheld with my eyes what mankind cannot even fathom, I've gained a lifetime of wisdom in a mere 20 years. A life of two decades that seemed like an eternity, and I stand at the precipice of my third decade, wounded and scarred, with questions and worries abounding. All the while, I struggle to understand the nature of my unique mind, the nature of the gifts I have, and why, despite immense forces that would try, nothing has succeeded in killing me.

I ask myself constantly, what am I here for? What reason do I have for living that is so important that, after all that has happened, I survive? There was a time that I went three days without food or water. There was a time I swallowed mercury. I've fallen headfirst onto a rock, I've drunk hydrogen peroxide, and I once fell on my neck in a way that should have broken it.

I'm going to laugh when the grand unified theory actually becomes elucidated and it turns out to be way more simple than anyone thought ( I'll laugh more when a lost Einstein paper surfaces with its ideas to show it was figured out long before).  Still this is very exciting research ( as long as it isn't actually way off from the truth like for example more and more complicated theories necessary to keep explaining  a flaw in the initial premise ).
