Well... that would be because when I was in the 1990's, I spent most of it in primary school.

Isn't that darling!  You were what, like a teenager at the time?  Fractions are hard!  Plus those "times tables."
My name is Nellie, and I take pride in helping protect the children of my community through active leadership roles in my local church and in the Boy Scouts of America.  Bad word make me sad.

I had the times tables mastered when I was 5, and was doing odd multiplications like 15 x 9 in my head at that age... same with telling the time on analogue clocks.

Fractions I had mastered by the time I was 7. Maths isn't *** hard; and if people think it is - they just don't have a decent enough teacher.

Maybe simpletons need a teacher.

A real man needs a few postulates, and some notational conveniences drawn from manuscript sources.

Thank you!  I like them as well.

No, one uses nitrile gloves when handling biological specimens.

These are my "going a-courtin'" gloves.

Women are fascinated by them, and men envy them.

They have other uses, though, in a more professional setting.

Actually, I have worn them indoors at a bar during the beginning of the COVID "conspiracy," and recently late at night, since I was wearing a safari jacket, I ran out to the car and grabbed them to demonstrate something about the TV show The A-Team to some people I was talking to.  They are very tight fitting, thin, durable gloves if one needs quality hand protection while retaining the ability to manipulate small objects.

While I usually read everything you write, I was rolling on the floor with this beautiful cartoon that really should be sent to every keyboard player in the hemisphere who uses the 'evil transposition button'.

I laughed my sorry arse off. I wonder if hell is a place full of demons playing pieces of music on the piano all seemingly physically in the right key... but they sound a minor 3rd lower in pitch.

What type of fancy-free guy drinks cocktails???

Whisky, Beer or Cognac. That's all a man is meant to drink.

Wine, if he's in the company of other woman and men who are interested in sharing a bottle, but no frickin' cocktails.

I actually don't like wine but when paired with the correct cheese the taste is a lot better thank you to the German and French for that education ahhaha. Haven't you ever hosted a cocktail party? It's a lot of fun, everyone brings a particular bottle and within 30 mins everyone is on the floor paralysed. Eventually you abandon all recepies and improvise alcoholic masterpieces.

That's supposed to be set in hell, remember.  And notice the nasty-ass Jim Beam that Joe Don Baker is improving with a common medication for gastric distress.

Haven't you ever hosted a cocktail party?

A *WHAT*??  Sounds fancy.

There's a place for mixed drinks:  to hide the objectionable flavor of inferior liquors.

A daquiri?  Some musty pirate's rum with a little citrus.

Salmiakkikossu?  Any old vodka with ammonium chloride/licorice candies dissolved in it until black in color.

Anyway, p_p has defended cocktails in the past, so I'm calling him out for perfidy.

However WINE is very good.  Paul Masson Emerald Dry, André's Cold Duck, Night Train, Thunderbird, Franzia Crisp White in a 5L box.  Some of the very best ways to consume over thirty units of alcohol in a sitting, and one's breath is not affected until the metabolites of alcohol start to color one's exhalations after digestion, which can be disguised with breath mints.  Plus, it looks fancy, but is not.

I'm going to bet 1 of 2 things... either:

1) You can't prove it, and you're not going to troll through 261 pages of comments just to find it so you can seem right...

2) By sheer luck you do find it, and prove to everyone you have WAAAAAAAY too much time on your hands.

Your move.

I'm not going to look it up but it wasn't that long ago.  Something about whiskey....where I was talking about the disgusting sounding set of shots known as The Cheeseburger.

Viz., one shot of tequila, one shot of pickle juice, one shot of tomato juice, taken in that order.

Don't be that way!  What's up with that?

You were simping on cocktails and you know it!

But I can't talk about it anymore, because I'm enraged that this fool stole my idea of how to consume snack foods.

And a "Cheeseburger" is not a mixed drink.  It sounds revolting and I've never had one either.  Just heard about it from a bartender.

Variety is the spice of life, and sometimes when you get sick of Whisky, it's nice to add a little extra something to smooth it out.

I like a good ol' Whisky Mac, which is 3 parts Ginger wine to 2 parts Whisky. Quite nice in summer.

I'm not exactly sure that is classified as a cocktail... It's whisky and wine mixed together... hardly a cocktail.

On a more serious note, how long until imgbb folds and makes every image linked into a broken link?  I give it a year, maybe.  But that's optimistic.  Too bad pianostreet doesn't host images:  it's not like there's a lot of traffic here.

But, then, most of it would be consumed by "senior level" illiterate rubes, so whatever.
