Leviticus doesn't apply to Christians. Your out of context reading doesn't stand up sorry. We widely accept many "abominations" and things worthy of death listed in the old testament (charging interest on loans, eating pork, a disrespectful child cursing their father or mother etc). You need to understand that there is progression and an unveiling of understanding over time, a common pattern when reading the bible. You can't blatantly apply ancient world law to today, you cannot read the bible with a contemporary perspective without understanding the ancient historical context. So yeah, better not try to discuss this unless you actually understand beyond the superficial level. I'm sure you'd have some ultra fundamentalists believe in what you are saying though, but they are a dying breed, people today don't really respect those perspectives and for good reasons.
