Ponder on that Alistair...
Some people just lack the ability to realise that everyone in the forum wants them to shut up.
Amazing... Alistair's posted over 11K posts, and yet not one of them have had any substance or informative purpose. Amazing how someone can say so much, yet say so little.

Really? Can't we talk about human sacrifice and how ecclesiastical latin is the devil"s tongue? All right. Fine.
Yes, why not, indeed? This is a piano forum, after all...
This is as close as I could get to express my exact feelings for you...
I want to talk about Krenek, Messiaen
and I don't want to hear word one about some pommie ponce who wrote some music which almost nobody cares
Not my problem, especially as I use a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Clearly you people are trying the old trick of boring me to death
Hey - don't lump me in with Alistair; that's not fair.
Sometimes it's just hard to see the difference...like two lumps in a soup...
And then I get the money, then I get the power, then I get the winning!
Hey... comparing me to him? That's crossed a line. That's like comparing me to Hitler, or Mussolini... or Idi Amin.
Pathetic...I already have money and power, so for me it's only about winning for fun...to enjoy seeing you losers suffer another humiliation
Alistair may be torturous at times, but I don't think he could ever match up to Idi...
Well... nice to see you're not arguing with the comparison to Mussolini.
Silly me - how could I forget Kim Jong-Un, Joseph Stalin... bloody Augusto Pinochet.
Somewhere I'm sure we can equate him to someone like the above.
There's also Lenin, Ghengis Khan, Mao Zedong...
I truly resent that statement Outin... you just didn't think it through clearly enough. Comparing me to him is like comparing me to a soul-eating Hitler terminator intent on destroying the human race.
I, too, admire much of Messiaen's music (though not quite all of it). In time, indeed, I suspect that he and Sorabji will come to be recognised as major masters of both the piano and the organ during the last three quarters of the past century.
There's also Lenin...
Now you are getting out of line!
Come on - name one major political leader that most people actually like?
Okay... no politics. And hey... we don't think we're all high and mighty. Scott Morrison is a bloody twat, and everybody in Australia knows it. I present 'Evidence A'
How about a little of this?
